Nice Quiet Place for a Date

Little Italy has been around for probably 12+ years now so it is a well established locally owned Italian restaurant. The inside is classy and they have a guitar player on Friday and Saturday. The food is good overall with good sized portions. The complementary bread and dipping sauce are... read more

Our party of 4 all selected 4 different items and were all delighted with our meal. Despite changing names and ownership this continues to be the number Italian restaurant in Abilene in my opinion.

Have eaten here every other time we have been to Abilene and have loved it. Don't know what went wrong, but not going back. Service was slow. Wait staff rude. My veal must have come from the frozen section of a big box store (not knocking big box stores, just not what I came here to eat).

Waited for an hour just to get my meal. Waiter forgot to put my order in and then messed up my drink order. Wow

When our group of 10 entered Little Italy, were were allowed to rearrange some of the tables in the small dining area so we could sit together. We each ordered at the counter and waited at the table for our food to be brought to us. Drinks are serve yourself. Everyone's large portion of food was hot, fresh & made-to-order.... More

The family liked their food. It was delivered and still hot which is a plus. I ordered mannicotti. There was absolutely no ricotta in it, all mozzarella. The noodles tasted like they were cooked in won ton soup broth-mmmm gotta love the MSG's. The photo is the filling. Not a great experience. I'm glad the family liked their food however.

Great food, good service, a quiet place to eat on Friday night. The Musial was excellent. The entrance to the restaurant let the place down. There was a shabby outside area, Gobdola dusty with lot of bird droppings, shabby chairs and tables which were dirty. There was an old tin can being used as an ashtray by the staff. I... More

We went for lunch and found the service very prompt and readily accepting of special requests. The food was better than many places we've been. The portions were large enough to serve us for another meal. This was a welcome change from the chain restaurants!
