Stood waiting for over ten minutes for someone to take our name for seating. Don't think it is too much to expect to at least have a hostess at the desk. We won't be making the drive across town to eat here again.

This restaurant was just across the street from where we stayed at the Whitten Inn. It was your typical Cracker Barrel with a lot of shopping items, etc. But, we had GREAT service. The lady that waited on us knew exactly how to take care of a family with children and thought of everything we needed, before we did. Great... More

Never again!! Cracker Barrel here in Abilene will never get our business until they clean up their act. We waited for our food for over 45 minutes, closer to an hour. There were people who were seated AFTER us who got their food and almost done eating and we still hadn't got our food. We left and went somewhere else.... More

We were driving through on the way to Dallas and decided to stop and it had a perfect menu for everyone. You have to try the catfish and they serve breakfast all day. Service was great, really friendly waiters and waitresses.

This was our second trip on this route and intentionally stopped at this Cracker Barrel again. The food is great and the service is superb.

Good country down home cooking is what you'll find here. The service was fast and given with a smile.

Consistence Cracker Barrel food. Always good. I just had a standard egg and biscuit breakfast and it was good. The service was really slow which was surprising as they weren't very busy. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food. Not sure what that was all about.

Initial service was slow but attentive after she actually acknowledged my presence. Food was average, felt the ham was dry and the biscuits were hard. Ok for Cracker Barrel but nothing special tonight.

I have eaten at several Cracker Barrels around the country. They are pretty consistent in quality, therefore a safe bet in a strange place. I'm an old country boy, so this one being available locally gives me an option when good ole southern food sounds right. Like all of them, this one is not the choice when you are looking... More

One of my favorite places to eat on the road. Friendly, efficient staff, great atmosphere, and good home-style food. Always fun to walk around the large gift shop.
