The food was good and fresh. The service was friendly and acceptable. Prices were reasonable for the type of food served.

We went there last month for breakfast. The food took a little longer than I had hoped for it to, but it was excellent! I love being able to walk around their store until being seated. The server was very nice as well. I will be going back.

Thr food was great like every Cracker Barrel we have visited. The server accidentally brought a sweetened tea to a diabetic. When he corrected the error, he had the person in our group taste it to be sure he hadn't made the same mistake twice! We later learned earlier in the day the paramedics had been there for a diabetic!... More

As usual the greeting when you walk in makes you feel welcome and whenever I can I stop for the baked haddock dinner...you can't beat the price for the amount of food you get. I have had this all over the U.S. and it hasn't disappointed me yet.

Be ready for a long wait if you go late on a weekend morning. This is a great place for breakfast. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, grits and biscuits make for a great start to the morning. Few places do breakfast better than Cracker Barrel.

We've dined and enjoyed our meals at many Crackerbarrels, but not this one. The waitress never turned in our order, and we had to find another waitress to do so after waiting for 30 minutes. Then the original waitress came by to make her excuses. Then a different waitress finally brought our food, but my wife never got her salad.... More

I am at fault again for stopping at a Cracker Barrel, but it was handy traveling through Abilene. Never again at any C.B. They all cant seem to get your food to the table hot. I had grilled chicken strips which were a joke, so thin and little and the turnip greens were cold, so back they go. Partners mashed... More

I visited the Cracker Barrell for my b-day with my mom recently, but can't say enough nice things about Ashley--top notch server who went above & beyond to take great care of us!

Good food for business travellers. My only gripe is the Chicken BLT sandwich is supposed to have colby cheese on it (it says so in the menu). It is not just this location, my home location in Indianapolis has the same problem as others across the country. Somebody needs better training.

My wife and I are in our 50's and we tease one another about eating at Cracker Barrel because it is an "old people" restaurant. But seriously, we appreciate prompt, friendly service. Our latest visit to the North Abilene Cracker Barrel left us wondering if we would be late taking our medications due to the slow service! ;-) Our server... More
