The food was okay and I probably would not have written this review except for the treatment I received from the staff and the manager. The waitress did not properly wait on our table. When the bill came, we were left waiting for the waitress. Four times I had to get up from the table to search for the waitress.... More

This restaurant had decent reviews, it was close to our hotel, and we were both craving seafood. However, I forget that seafood in the south is almost always fried and battered beyond recognition, so don't expect great seafood. I took off the heaving coating of the batter and ate the shrimp and cod beneath, but still was quite greasy and... More

While the restaurant is old, I like the idea of multiple dining areas. There are large spaces between tables so you feel that you are dining alone. You can have great dinner conversation without worrying about being overheard. The menu provides a good selection of steak, pork, and seafood selections. The portions are ample and appropriately priced. The food was... More

Sticky table, oversalted gumbo, oversalted fish. Abilene needs a decent seafood restaurant and this just isn't it. The only thing that saved the evening was a very good server. But, she couldn't make the meal edible.

The restaurant is spit into several smaller dining rooms so you don't feel like everyone can see you. The food is delicious, I do recommend the appetizer sampler because it gives you some out there choices to try for a relatively small price.

My wife and I ate here and more than likely won't come back. The inside is dark and gloomy with the typical nautical decor. The hostess and server seemed to be going through the motions, not really going out of their way. The food was average and I felt it was overpriced for what you got. Disappointing.

We were just in this evening. My family was in the mood for seafood, so we decided to check it out. The food was really good, my husband and I had the lobster bisque, wonderful flavor!! We also had the beer battered shrimp and my daughter had crab legs. Needless to say, there was nothing left on our plates! The... More

This place is a delightful surprise! They have great food, friendly staff, the owner is 'hands on' much of the time and their prices are very reasonable, especially at lunchtime. Great atmosphere and an overall enjoyable dinner out!

The atmosphere was gloomy, the food was frozen I ordered a steak medium and it was well, but you can tell it was frozen when they cooked it. The bread was burnt, the only decent thing was the lobster bisque.
