Small restaurant in Abilene TX. Not much to look at from the outside, from across the parking you're not sure it even open. Once you try the food you know why it is rated number one in the area. For those who like spicy food try the spicy chicken soup. The food is outstanding. hope to return to try more... More

We stopped at Sabah's restaurant on the way back from Spring Break for lunch. It was one of the best middle east meals I've ever had....and I'm from Turkey. Spicy soup is to die for and the falafel was so full of spices and yummy! Why would anyone go to a fast food place in Abilene when they could come... More

I travel 5 days of the week and eat 5 times in different restaurants during the same week so that tells you I have experience rating restaurants, here is my opinion on this one. GREAT: Lunch on a mid week day, food DELICIOUS, salad really good, FREE soup at the beginning was great, plenty of parking spaces available and establishment... More

Outstanding lamb kifka! Been here several times, each time it has been great. Spicy soup not so much, but everything else I've orders has been wonderful. Owner has a story to tell...listen, he is an original and is a really nice guy! Thanks for the good food and your service!

I was hesitant to try it but Wow! Some of the best food I've ever had in my life and definitely the best service. For first timers try the gyro or kabobs and you must get the baklava for dessert. The owner will let you sample things and make your dining experience one of a kind.

I live 45 minutes away and I drive to abilene at least twice a week just to eat here. Sabbah is the kindest man I've ever met. I always get the gyro sandwich and I am never disappointed! He always give me samples of the other foods but I'm one of those who always eats the same thing. The hummus... More

The food here is absolutely delicious! It's hot, fresh, & flavorful. The owner is very nice and thoughtful. He gave me samples of other food and I thought that was very kind of him. A great place to visit! I'll go there again before I leave Abilene.

This is a family owned restaurant with authentic food and a varied menu for meat lovers and vegetarians. The food is fresh and prepared to order. If you need a little pep, try the Turkish coffee with a little sugar. Yum. The lentil soup is very good as well. Its all good......Dive right in.

While on vacation in Abilene, we wanted to try something different for lunch. The owner, who ran the place by himself, was very kind. There were two types of soup for an appetizer. The lentil soup was wonderful, and the spicy soup was just that, spicy! He brought out complementary hummus, pita bread, and yogurt as our wait was a... More

Being someone that always wants to try something different especially something that I can't get back home in central TX, this place was unique to say the least. Too bad it appears only the locals/regulars know about this place. As the other reviews also mentioned, don't let the strip mall location keep you from trying this place; the food was... More
