This place. I was introduced to it by a friend who had prior knowledge of it from when he worked in Knoxville (just a short dive away). I was a bit skeptical about it, but when we pulled up and there were old 55 gallon drums being used as grills/smokers on the front lawn, I knew I was in for... More

For a couple of years I had heard wonderful things about the pulled pork here, but I never made it to the restaurant. When the owner started parking his food truck at the Big Lots in Alcoa, I finally stopped and bought a couple of pounds. This is absolutely the best BBQ pulled pork I have ever had! What I... More

Cold, half-cooked, and the ultimate in greasy doesn't even begin to describe the food. Never again will I darken their door.

If you looked up southern comfort food in the dictionary, there would be a picture of this buffet. The slow smoked pulled pork was the best I've had. You need to get over yourself if you're looking for fancy as you won't find it here. You will, however find incredible home-cooked dishes and smiling faces. This is the type of... More

Seat yourself, family style seating and table sharing if you have empty seats. Very friendly workers and patrons. Clean up after yourself - be courteous, reasonably clean - older, but not 'dirty' as some reviews indicated. All in all solid local fare near the airport and local hotels. Pros: -Charcoal Grilled Meats using grills out on the front lawn with... More

The food was not even warm, nor edible in my opinion. Everything I touched was sticky or dirty. The tables, the floor, the cups at the drink station, (and that looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks) the handles in the food. I have to admit, I never eat at buffets, this is why. I thought I would... More
