Pizza was hot and above average in taste. Service was very good. New York Style, maybe so, but not New York Style flavor from Brooklyn. A nice place and may return. If so, will go for either slices or something else from the menu. 12" Pepperoni Pizza and a soda for $16 and some change? I bit expensive.

It's small with a lot of character. The pizza is delicious. They also offer a cheap combo if you don't want a full pizza. They have many other menu items to choose from.

Fantastic pies. The perfect thickness. Their cheese melts perfectly across the pie. We always get extra cheese. We generally go for the family special. 2 medium pizzas, 2 toppings, pasta, salad for around 25.00. It will provide dinner and lunch for two straight days.Sure, you can get cheaper pizza at a Little Ceasers or a Dominos, but you honestly get... More

I have only had the lunch specials. But the one slice of pizza and salad is wonderful and very filling. The salad is a big salad with lots of fixings. The pizza is extremely good. The guy at the counter very nice and pleasant. All in all a very pleasant experience!

No better pizza this side of the Smoky Mountains. Always hot, never varies and alway reminds me of Jersey/New York pizza. Great quality and great service.

After hearing so many people rave about Metro, we decided to go in and give it a try. Not a soul was there but not unusual at 8 on a Tuesday night. Ordered a 12 inch half pepperoni and sausage pizza. While we were waiting for our pizza I could see back into the kitchen. I wish I hadn't mindlessly... More

Wmtip, I'm sorry that your visit to Metro Pizza wasn't as positive as you thought it would be. I hope you'll try us again sometime. It sounds like witnessing our prep work was what really put you off. I want to give you the bigger picture, just to put your mind at ease about our health practices. Our spaghetti and... More

Metro once had a good Italian beef sandwich. Being from Chicago I have had some of the best, and Metro was pretty good. I recently went there for a beef sandwich. Wow! What a disappointment. The bread was a packaged French roll, the little amount of beef was layered dry on the bread. I was served a 1/2 cup of... More

Barbehansen, as any business would probably prefer, I wish you had first told one of us at the restaurant if you were not satisfied. Our intention is never to disappoint anyone. Our french rolls are indeed packaged from an Atlanta bread company, which we have used for over two decades. The Italian beef is from Fontanini, a Chicago company, which... More

I have been many times . Great pizza , great Calzone. Great salads with red onions . Jay does it up right . Someone in a prior review complained about the plastic utensils . I am glad he offers that . I dont have to worry about who has used or washed the silverware. Great place to eat and he... More

On my last trip to the area I took the advice of some friends and stopped by Metro for a pizza. They have a large menu of Italian items other than pizza to choose from. The pizza was good but somewhat undercooked. I wasn't impressed by the paper plates and plastic utensils along with the fact that they don't have... More
