A cute little local seafood shack located on the west side on US17 just north of Mount Pleasant. Affordable, cute, and I would go again the next time i was in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff. (p.s., the correct spelling and name is

We drove to Seewee from Folly Beach which is about a 30 mile trip. It is one of the restaurants we routinely visit when we go to Charleston. I'm not sure what happened last night but once we got our food we suddnly became invisible to our waitress. Not once did she offer to refill our drinks. At one point,... More

Took out of town family there last evening Told wait would be 15 minutes. An hour and 40 minutes later we were seated. An hour and 20 minutes later we finally finished our meal. Food not as ordered and cold. No apology offered. One of worst dining experiences ever.

Old general store converted to a restaurant. Very rustic, noted for their seafood which was offered grilled or fried. Had the fried which was lightly breaded and not greasy. If you are snobby about decor, don't go,but if you like good seafood give it a try.

Excellent food. We ate there Sunday and Monday lunch. They can "86" your choice to hold you a portion. Enough fried chicken to feed the family. Down home cooking at its finest.

I enjoy coming here as the place and the staff have "character", the food is plentiful, but not outstanding. A trip to East Cooper is not complete without a visit here, though.

This place used to be good but now you pay more for less.we sat there four twenty minutes while everyone around us got service even the people who where just walking in got service and complimentary hush puppies and we were still waiting on a waitress. Not worth going back witch is sad because it used to be one of... More

try the She Crab soup...a great start to any meal...if the weather is nice, sit outside! Don't be fooled by the adjacent outdoor restroom facilities attached to the building...they are nicer and cleaner than most newer restaurants! Be on the lookout for this place or you might miss it!

I had not been here in several years so my wife and I were in the mood for something different and remembered this place, glad we did. If you are looking for luxury or ambiance this is not the place for you however if you want outstanding, fresh seafood you've come to the right place. I had the See Wee... More

This is a very good sea food place outside of Charleston, SC. It is rustic. We like to eat on the porch, Very good shrimp & oyster dishes and also excellent southern desserts
