Every time we eat here, we are too full to ordering if their homemade cakes (think 6 layer caramel) or cobblers or pies . Their seafood is always fresh and delicious. The vegetable sides are Southern comfort food and delicious. This establishment is out in the middle if nowhere so it's like an oasis of yummy dishes. Worth the trip.... More

Based on the all the good reviews that I read online, I had to try their Shecrab soup (had never even heard of this soup until I started researching for our trip to SC). We stopped on our way back from Myrtle Beach (going back to Seabrook Island) for a late lunch, around 2:30, and we were in and out... More

I would never come back to this restaurant again. Me and my family drove from summervillie to come to seewee because of all the great things I heard about the food. When I got there I waited for about few minutes before I was seated and they were completely emptyed I was given cold hush puppies... my sweet tea was... More

We've been to SeeWee several time over the years it's discouraging to see that there have been zero improvements made to the place. It's an old building. The front door is not obvious and is very hard to open. The interior is dark and understandably so because the restaurant is dirty. Rest rooms are outside and terrible. The food is... More

This place is a tough call. We spotted this hole in the wall coming down Highway 17 from Litchfield on our way to Isle of Palms. We decided to drive back up mid week to eat there. It's about 25 minutes - barring any traffic. If you drive by and are appalled by the outside, then don't step inside -... More

We found this restaurant in a road food book. Perfect. It meets all the criteria for road food. Casual setting, no-frills menu, and good, friendly service. I got the grilled seafood platter and it is one of the best I ever had. My husband had the fried seafood platter and also said it was one of the best. The kicker... More

We have been to this restaurant several times but have forgotten to write a review. It's simply a local, low country restaurant that has a lot of charm. You are eating in a place where time has passed with no frills but charm. One can sit in an area that has shelves of sodas, cans of sodas, beers, etc which... More

My family and I make the journey to Seewee Restaurant every year while vacationing on Isle of Palms, SC. The trip from IOP to Awendaw is about 25 minutes. Once you escape the big-box stores along Highway 17, you drive through the beautiful SC Lowcountry before arriving at Seewees. As other reviews have mentioned, the seafood is off-the boat fresh,... Stopped in here while out on the bike for a weekend stroll. It was July 4th and my usual seafood restraunt was closed for the holiday. So i gave Seewee a shot. So glsd I did. The shrimp was so fresh i expected to see it move. The food at Seewee is phenominal. The atmosphere will take you back to... More
