Nice Ambience

Went there Tuesday of Masters week. Great ambience and food. I had the short ribs, excellent!!! Only down side was the server, one suspects he was on drugs as food was late and some plates were cold. My entrée was served by the chef himself. Nice touch, but the server should have brought it... read more

The menu is great, the starters are larger than I'm used to (the duck especially was *huge*), so I probably should have skipped the salad on the first night. The steaks, lamb, fish, braised rib, all lovely, all enjoyed by every member of the party. The staff courteous and professional (albeit rushed off their feet, this being the busiest week... More

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful dinner at Malia's. We come down every year for The Masters and are so happy to have discovered this little gem of a restaurant in Aiken,GA. Our waitress, Sidney was great, and when I asked how the salmon was prepared, she sent the chef, Michael, out to meet with us.... More

Our friends invited us to join them for dinner and I internally grimaced remembering our last outing to Malia's. What a difference a year or so makes. The menu was extensive, the wine list affordable, and the deserts mouth watering. The presentation of our orders was flawless and our taste buds were very happy. The wait staff could not have... My husband and I visited Malia's twice, a week apart - once for a birthday meal, once with another couple. The first night, we were served French beans that were a mixture of spoiled (wrinkled, discoloured, and sour) and inadequately cooked. I sent them back and was given a serving of spinach cooked in butter. The meal was so disappointing... More

Matt, the bartender is great! Very knowledgeable about his craft and pleased to chat. The food was so great and my son-in-law, who is from Venezuela raved so, the chef, Michael was kind enough to come out to the table and meet us. Brian, the waiter was very attentive and saw to our every need. We go to Malia's s... More

Nice place with good choices of appetizers in lieu of entrees and Caesar salad with real anchovies. Reasonably priced wines and try the red raspberry pie. Good service.

All four of us had different selections and each one was excellent. Lasagna, Short ribs, Sea Bass and I had the salmon which was to die for. The best I have ever had and with this scrumptious sauce. Service was great too. Going back very soon!
