Worth a Visit

We stopped in for dinner and a few beers and dinner and had a good time. We tried a few of the craft beers and were generally pleased. We both ordered ribs and there were very good. Service was ok, they were very busy (Masters week and same night off NCAA National Championship Game) and at the end... read more

Prior to this visit the last time I was in America was over 10 years ago, at which point it was impossible to get a decent pint (by British standards). We popped in for a pre-dinner beer here twice and had three different beers, all of which would have been at home in any country pub in England. The Thoroughbred... More

We used to come here years ago, when they first opened. We stopped coming because they don't allow dogs at their outdoor tables. A friend of mine came to Aiken to meet me for lunch. We wanted to go to Malia's, but they were closed for lunch this week. We ate inside, it was already crowded outside at 12:30. It... More

In a quaint little town you're going to find a place that brews great beer and serves good food. The service is warm, welcoming, and informed. The wings are tasty, hot, and delicious. The beer is hand crafted and flavorful. The atmosphere sitting outside is peaceful and great people watching, while the temperature was inviting. If you're in town for... More

Like the idea of having the beer served brewed on site. Good variety and great taste. Food is good and in some cased a little over price. Avoid sitting in the downstairs bar service there was poor. Server was more interested in flirting than serving. Have had best service anywhere else and outside. If weather permits outside is great .

The wings are out of this world. We got them as an appetizer and wished we had just ordered more and ate those for dinner. The meals were good too, we just couldn't get the teriyaki wings out of our heads and taste buds. Large and still have a nice crunchy crispness. The sauce is amazing. And the blue cheese... More

My husband and I met a few local friends on our visit to Aiken SC. They have the best wings ever and great local beer.

It's true what the other reviewers say about the smell inside. We went in briefly but after noticing the noise and smell, we decided to sit outside. The beer is very good (we both had the local brews). We stuck to the appetizers (chicken quesadilla for me) which were typical tavern fare. This is a great place if you just... More

Liked the food and the service. We had lunch and enjoyed a really good burger - which we rarely order. Did not like the noise, but then, it is a brew house.

When you are wondering what to get your husband as a gift from you trip to Aiken, go no further. The growlers are terrific, painted with the logo of the brewery and the micro brew is beyond compare. I bought the grolwers shortly before my 8 hour trek home and my husband adored his gift! Great place, terrific ambiance!
