If you are in Aiken, stop by - love to get their quiche and crab bisque. A little cramped on the inside, but on a nice day the outdoor seating is a great break!

We stopped for coffee to go. They roast their own here, doing it in small batches to ensure freshness. We what they had; my only complaint is that both roasts they had brewed were lighter, and I tend to prefer medium to dark roasts. So a little more variety would have been even better.

If I had not been traveling I think I would of gotten a dozen to go! I was only in town for a short visit but managed to get here twice!

I go to New Moon Cafe whenever I'm in Aiken. Local place, very dog friendly in outdoor area; frequented by locals. All food and pastries homemade. Love it. Atmosphere very laid back; prices reasonable. Highly recommend it.

I LOVE New Moon. I have never had anything bad from them. Their collection of salads, sandwiches, soups (can you say lobster bisque) and beverages are amazing. Portions are reasonable for the cost. They bake fresh daily. Smoothies, coffees, lattes, and chai are better than Starbucks. Plus you can purchase the beans on site! Wonderful place to eat.

This is a marvelous little hole in the wall. They serve there own fresh made smoothies. There soups and sandwiches are to die for. They have some interesting combinations of soups and sandswiches. Toasted brie on a brioche and crap soup with potatoe saled. My My.

Aiken is hands down one of my favorite places to visit. The southern charm, quaintness, rustic town, slow going attitude, and amazing scenery all are things I looooove about the town. My grandfolks live in Aiken and my extended family usually gathers at their "Ranch/Horse Farm" for Christmas or during the summer. I am not a horse rider (pretty much... More

We were downtown Aiken last Saturday afternoon and decided to get a sandwich at New Moon Cafe because they bake their own bread/bagels and we hadn't been there in a long time. After I reviewed the menu I decided on the chicken salad instead of a sandwich. I should have taken a picture of my salad to share on this... More

New Moon has great coffee drinks and food. Good menu for both breakfast and lunch. It's a little bit funky and small, but most of the time you can find a place to sit. It is very popular, so getting there at the right time is a good thing. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad... More
