Pizza before the Masters

Stayed in Aiken and walked over for some dinner and a beer. Pleasantly surprised when we got there. Great down home local care was to die for and the Calzone was awesome and giant. Prices were very reasonable and the service fantastic. The bar is very large with tables around. They did have... read more

There is nothing special about this restaurant's food. It is very mediocre. The pizza's crust is always to thin even when I tell them to make it thick and the pizza just dos not taste good in general.

Wide variety of thin-crust style pizza, enormous draft beer selection. Rather noisy. Good service, pleasant surroundings/ambiance for a pizza parlour (covered outdoor seating is very nice). Plenty of parking.

Not a huge fan. The salad was simply iceberg lettuce and not much else. The pizza was pretty thin and "floppy." The server seemed rushed, but okay. It just does not have that cozy pizza restaurant feel to it for me. It is conveniently located on a corner near Richland Avenue and if you are attending a show at the... More

Love the pizza and wings. And the atmosphere in the restaurant portion of the place is OK. Neat and fairly quiet and you can see the ovens from anywhere in there. But I would stay away from the bar. Noisy (actually LOUD) and dark and just not really that inviting to me. I would also not bring small children there.... More

Good food (and lots of it), cold beer, fast service, reasonable prices. I'll keep going back whenever I'm in Aiken.

Pizza is just good, for Aiken, SC I would say better then most. The service is terrible, takes forever to get anything from the kitchen. Salads are different, lots of cheese, but good. I have gotten up and left many times due to the time it takes to get service. VERY NOISY and not a real family place. Great beer... More

Second time eating here and it was once again spot on. The garlic knots are fresh and tasty. This is a good spot to hit for lunch or for dinner. We will be back again for the pizza and strombli

Good selection of beer, LOVE the Big Mike sandwich WHEN they get it right (don't be in a rush this sandwich takes as long or longer than a pizza, who knows why!) pizza is very good Nd single slices are generous. Inside is noisy but has a large pub/dive vibe with big wood booths. Can be fun if that's your... More

We were coming into town for a quick visit and needed to pick up something for football watching. My wife suggested ordering ahead at the Pizza Joint and we were not disappointed. We had the Big Deal (or something similar to that) which had pepperoni, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, etc. Very tasty. We also ordered the tossed salad which was very... More
