This place is a hit or miss. I have had some good food here and some bad food. Service is usually bad though....and slow!

This awesome place is located in the historical downtown area of Aiken. The restaurant is VERY family friendly and does feature pet-friendly outside seating. Service was really quick & friendly and we did not have to wait long for our food. The atmosphere was very good, not too loud or crowded. The handmade pizza was excellent w/ plenty of cheese... More

To the point, the Pizza Joint is located in the historical downtown area of Aiken. Parking is ample and free. The facility itself is NOT historic. The décor....not certain there is any....is simple. A large open kitchen, a beer bar off to one corner of the place (kids will NOT be exposed to the bar area) and tables and booths... More

This Pizza Joint is a little nicer than the one in Augusta GA but still laid back and great food and a good selection of drinks.

I get the DeVito every time, it is so yummy. The pizza is fresh and good, and the slices are very generous. Because everything is baked to order it takes a little longer sometimes, but I find it is worth the wait. Atmosphere is bar-like, definitely a "jointy" type place, but the food is definitely good.

The hubs and I took a random road trip to Aiken recently. It was our first time taking the time to get out and explore rather than just passing through. We wandered around the charming downtown area hoping for serendipity in finding a place to have lunch, and we got it. The Pizza Joint is a block or two off... More

Pizza and salad were good but serve is too slow for a lunch place. Even getting a water refill was hard.
