Nice atmosphere. Food was under flavored. A bit over-priced. Of the four of us at the table, the impression was more or less the same. Not horrible, but wont be rushing back anytime soon.

This was actually our 2nd visit and neither my husband nor I can remember what we thought of our first visit. We went this time w a groupon for our anniversary. The groupon said reservation required....but we were the only ones there dining at 6pm on a Friday (2 other couples came in within an hour). The wait staff is... More

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday. The lunch started out great with a Portuguese Fish Soup. It was really outstanding, quite flavorful and seasoned to perfection. For our main course we ordered the Espetada Mista (mixed seafood on a skewer) . It came with mixed vegies and rice and looked great on the plate. Sadly, it was tasteless. If... More

Wonderful evening at at the Marisqueira Bistro for a misweek dinner. There were five us to share stories of journeys, adventures and connections. The bistro environment was a great spot. the staff provided excellent recommendations, very international flavors. The appetizers were excellent, the stuffed peppers were my favorite. We enjoyed a seafood paella for the entree that was very good.... More

My wife and I have eaten at Marisqueira several times and always enjoyed the food. We have a couple of dishes we really enjoy and would recommend to our friends and family. The peppers stuffed with fresh mozzarella cheese (pimentos recheados) is great a appetizer to start your meal and we love the Arroz de marisco which is an assorted... More

My husband and I chose this restaurant because we wanted to try something new. Found a Groupon and decided to give it a try. We were very disappointed and will not return. First, despite a half empty restaurant, we were seated very near another couple which made conversation awkward. I ordered mahi mahi and noticed that our nearby dining neighbor... More

What do you give your life partner of 19 years for his 51st birthday......a shirt, maybe shoes, a new gizmo.....no, a picture perfect meal......we have been blessed in Pittsburgh to have many good restaurants, but once in a while something special pops up...a place for that really special evening, a place to make that celebration extra special......well welcome to the... Second visit to Marisqueria. Quality of food was good to very good, service was impeccable! It is nice to have restaurants that offer different flavors and dishes than the traditional American fare. Twice very good, will be back and woudl be willing to refer friends to try it!

Excellent restaurant, Francisco (he might be one of the owners) makes you feel as though you have just met a long lost relative. Sometimes tapas show up at your table that you did not order and that are simply a gift. Graciousness doesn't say enough...and did I mention that the food is wonderful

They have slid. In January I said how great their desserts were. Not so any more. Also service and friendliness disappeared as we used Groupons. One would expect that they do very good for promotions, not the other way around. filet was very giristly and I had to politely remove many bits from my mouth to my plate. I will... More
