My family of 4 (2 adults, 17 year old and 6 year old) ate here. We love Thai food. The food was alright. They seem to have their sauces pre made, so they can't make a spicy dish mild..or a mild dish spicy. The dipping sauces tasted like they came from a jar, not homemade. Service was OK, but not... Don't be turned off by the fact that this restaurant is in a little strip mall in Broad Axe. What it lacks in decor, is made up for with the delicious food. The Basil Chicken Fried Rice is excellent and the old standby Pad Thai is very good too. We've had the yellow curry chicken, soups, and other dishes. All... More

A nicely decorated and attractive restaurant in a small strip mall with a Mexican eatery a few doors away. They specialize in Thai and Vietnamese dishes with many selections varying from the non-spicy to the very hot. Large portions with delicious food on decorated plates highlighted our visit along with exceptional service that went out of their way to make... More

After seeing all the great reviews my fiancé (although he was skeptical because it said Thai and Vietnamese) and I decided to give it a try. We were extremely disappointed, the food was not good and not Thai. They should stick with what they are good at, Thai is not it.

I purchased a Groupon and foolishly drove out there on a Sunday without calling, only to learn it was closed. I got out of the car to make sure they were in business. Noticed the windows were dirty and there were some papers on the sill that appeared to be sitting for some time. So I went home and inquired... More

Hard to find any faults with cuisine here. All on point, and what a range of flavors, heat, spice, and tastes. Drunken Noodles are always a hit at home, along with Tom Ka and Pad Thai. For takeout it is a bit on the pricey side, but for dine in this is a wonderful value. Could easily be missed in... More

Five of us visited this restaurant after obtaining a Groupon. The food was fantastic, reasonalby priced and the service exceptional. Our waiter answered all of questions about the spiciness of the food, and he was so accurate. We shared 5 entrees (Cashew Pineapple, Jungle King, Wild Ginger, Duck Pad Thai and Fantasy Duck) and each was so tasty, spiced appropriately,... More

Part of being a self-proclaimed City girl, I have some biases/judgements about restaurants located in the suburbs; especially those located in strip malls. Not sure where this prejudice came from, but... Thai Aroma is the second suburban strip mall restaurant that seriously challenges my judgements. The food was AMAZING! Service was perfect. Atmosphere is nice. Just 15 minutes from Chestnut... More

Went to Thai Aroma on Sat evening with a Groupon. Restaurant clearly unprepared and did not have enough waitstaff. The few they had were nice but untrained. Noone greeted us at door. After standing there for about 10 minutes, the waiter gestured at a table from across the room. Noone brought water or menus for 15 minutes. We brought wine... More

Like the previous contributor, I had a groupon for $70 worth of food for $30. That said, we love Thai food. We ordered 2 appetizers and each had an entree. The food was outstanding, and we will definitely go back. Family friendly atmosphere, BYOB and very helpful and attentive wait staff.
