Good Food

We were seated promptly and our waitress came quickly for our beverage order. We ordered straight from the menu four different items. It took a long time to get our order even though we could see one of them sitting on the counter. We were finally brought 3 of the orders and were told the... read more

Arrived for late breakfast and did not get acknowledged for at least five minutes. Waitress at the wait station about twenty yards away yelled over to us that somebody would be there in a little bit! No hostess or cashier on duty! Must be cutting back on labor. Once we were seated we were given our menus. I wanted breakfast... More

Came for breakfast with a group of friends. Wonderful waitress. Slow food arrival times. Food was good but took quite awhile to be served. Really only disappointed with that aspect of experience.

We first visited B.E. when we went to Rio Grande, Ohio and that is where the restaurants were founded. We have visited a number in various states of the USA and always receive excellent service and good quality food at a reasonable price. One of the 'names' we always look out for on our trips.

We came here for dinner when it first opened and service was a little slow. We haven't returned yet, so hopefully it will be better next time. The food was hot and fresh, no major complaints, but it wasn't the best meal ever either.

Went into this restaurant for some lunch on a cold day. Did not know but they did not have any meals such as a plain cheeseburger and fries. However, they did have cheeseburgers but they costed $10! After looking at the menu and were not happy we just left.

I had no desire to go to a Bob Evans restaurant. Just another boring chain right? Well There I was in a Bob Evans with no expectations other than expecting crummy food. Well Bob Evans has gotten the message that food should not be just salty or loaded with hidden sugar. I was in a mood a bit cranky I... More

We were visitng family in Altoona and decided to meet for breakfast on Sunday at 10 am. We walked in and the manager greeted us. When I told him it would be 18 people, he didn't blink an eye, he apologized it would be about 20-30 minutes we said that was fine. The restaurant was VERY busy. About 25 minutes... More

This seemingly brand new Bob Evans on Plank Rd was very nice, Our waitress Wendy was very friendly and provided great service. I wish all the restaurants I frequented had waitstaff as pleasant. Our food was cooked the way we ordered it and our whole experience here was great! Would visit this location again if ever in the area. The... More
