A great menu and the food is outstanding. Delicious homemade food and very generous portions. Nice atmosphere and the service was wonderful. Our server, Sue, was friendly, efficient and attentive. The entire staff was pleasant and friendly. Can't say enough good things about Finelli's.

Fabulous dinner at Finellis! We had veal piccata, veal saltimbocca and chicken parm. All the entrees were delicious. Our waitress Gail was top notch and friendly. After stuffing ourselves we didn't think we could possibly eat more but there was no passing up the best coconut cake I have ever had. If you are in town for one dinner this... More

Stumbled on this after reading reviews in Trip Advisor. This little neighborhood restaurant was really a find, from salad to dessert and in between. Try the chicken with Fontina sauce. Outstanding. Or try the chicken with Rocquefort sauce (web site menu says pork. They no longer do that dish, but instead use the sauce on chicken). Outstanding also. When we... More

We celebrated our 33rd anniversary this evening at Finelli's. My husband and I agreed that this was one of the best meals we'd ever eaten. The meal began with a basket of white and wheat bread, both of which were fresh and delicious. Our dinner salads were topped with amazing chunky blue cheese dressing. His seafood boil and my linguine... More

Their summer seafood broil is to die for! The desserts are out of this world! I love the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service is always great. The menu is very reasonably priced considering the high quality of the food. Definitely the best place to eat in Altoona.

I enjoyed a wonderful Linguine Puttanesca dinner this evening. The dish was perfectly seasoned with subtle hints of anchovy and robust spices, topped with delicious Italian Olives. I would absolutely order it again. I also had Mrs. Finelli's scrumptious Orange Creamsicle Cake for dessert. The cake was moist, perfectly flavored, and very refreshing. Perfect meal!

Our food was delicious! Appetizers were the best I've had. The smothered meatballs were outstanding! The stuffed portabella mushroom was yummy. The crab stuffing was soooo good. Ceaser salad very tasty. All drinks from the bar delicious, including best Bloody Mary ever. Wine list was extensive and best in town. Main dishes were great, loved my chicken Roquefort. Desserts were... More
