I have eaten at this place before and it was good. No better than the Allegro, but better than the Olive Garden. The last time I was there was and will be the last time I was there. After winning a gift certificate from a local radio station for $25, my wife and I went to Finelli's for dinner. When... More

Outstanding food. Finest restaurant in Altoona. Varied menu and has several choices for the value conscious diner also. Reminds you of the typical old style, family-owned restaurant in New York City located in a residential area of town. Can't go wrong with this one.

If you want a special place to go for dinner, Finelli's Italian Villa is the restaurant of choice. Don't let the facade fool you. It may not look like much from the outside but what you will find in the way of food and drink can not be beat. Of course, the pasta dishes are very good but just about... More

We love Finelli's! Really neat place off the beaten path, part of which makes it a special place. The wait-staff are excellent and top quality. Atmosphere is right out of "The Godfather" and better. Food is delicious, well prepared, and presented in real class. The kind of place one feels at home in blue jeans or a tux. A really... More

My family and I frequent Finelli's regularly and are always pleased with the quality and consistency of the food and the service. Over the past few years we have dined in some of the South Philadelphia restaurants, and Finelli's ranks right up there with the quality of traditional Italian fare. If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere, with excellent... More

Let's start by saying that Altoona has a rich history for fine Italian fare which goes back to the now closed Erculiani's Restaurant. While this great tradition remains in the memories of those who recall this nationally famous restaurant, it isn't NYC. So I will not measure this place by making unfair comparisons to restaurants in the dining Mecca and... More
