My family and I just visited the Knickerbocker for the first time after a visit to the Horseshoe Curve and Railroad Museum. We sat outside, which has a great atmosphere. We were really impressed with the selection of beers, many of which are local and others we hadn't heard of before. Lots of unique choices! The food was really good... More

We visited the Knickerbocker with our two boys while touring the area. Once you find the place and get past the rather iffy-looking exterior, you won't be disappointed in the food selection, quality or prices. If you're a beer lover, they have more options than most large liquor stores. We ordered the nachos to start; even our boys, who generally... More

The atmosphere here @ the Knickerbocker is always full of life, everyone is sitting their talking, laughing, & enjoying themselves. The food what can I say, I never got anything bad. The food is always fresh, hot, & delicious. No matter if it's a salad, hamburger, steak sandwich, & of course their awesome buffalo wings!!! They have many entrees, appetizers,... More

Great place with great hours. Excellent beer selection with decent food. Vegetarian options, also. Open Sundays, too! The outdoor seating is great.

Their motto should be: DECENT FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE. We tried to take a large group of friends here last night. Called ahead twice and they would not take our reservation and said we "shouldn't have a problem" getting a table for all of us when we arrived. We managed to grab the last two parking spaces in their tiny lot,... More

I read about The Knickerbocker on Trip Advisor and decided to try it. All of the reviews were accurate! This is a fun, relaxed place for lunch with great character. Our server, Megan, was attentive, pleasant and efficient. The food was delicious , especially the corned beef sandwich. I would absolutely return here and would highly recommend it - a... More

This place has the best beer selection around! I'll attach a picture of the beer list, it changes regularly, but has beer that is not found anywhere else in the area! Food is phenomenal, love the Blackened Tuna sandwich!

We were driving through town as we were on our way to Gettysburg from Niagara Falls. we were getting hungry so decided to try this place that janet had found good reviews for here on TA. We were not disappointed as we were seated right away even though they were pretty busy. service was great and all of the food... More

One of the few trip advisor recommendations I completely concur with. Recent trip to Altoona led us to this place. Wasn't sure what we were going to get as it looked more like a local bar from the outside. Interesting entrance, there's two sides. We chose the more happening bar side with a few booths. Menu was extensive. Service very... More

The food was great, especially the homemade nachos, delicious. Just wish it was accessible so we could get our daughter who is in a wheelchair in.
