Food was to bland or 1 ingredient overpowered everything. Powerdered mashed potatoes and bbq sauce from a bottle don't help things. Service was fine but won't go back for overpriced bad food. There are so many good diners in the area to bother with this slop house Taco Bell across the street has better tasting and better quality food.

Nice place and great food! The salad bar and homemade soups! The dinners were large and tasty and the menu is varied with lots of specials! Yum!

My wife and I dined at the Starlite Diner for dinner and it was very good. They have a large salad bar with a lot of variety including 3 soups. The Italian wedding soup was my choice and it was delicious. I ordered an Italian dish (Fratelli, I think) which was bow tie pasta with sun dried tomatoes in an... More

This restaurant was looking very promising judging by the fresh, warm loaves of bread, delicious soups, and quality salad bar offered. But the quality stopped there. My husband's crab cakes were unremarkable and my liver and onions special was all but inedible. The liver was so full of connective tissue, it was hard to cut through even with a knife.... More

A the risk of not following proper " PC ", consider this. If fine Italian Suits are made by Italians, and the best German Bratwurts are made by Germans, then it stands to reason that the best diners in America are owned by Greeks. The Starlight has to rank right up there with the very best. Yes, it is called... More

We stayed at the homewood suites which is only a stones throw away from the starlite diner which made things easy. This isn't your average diner they have a huge menu, alcohol and a good salad and soup bar with fresh bread. We ended up eating at the diner two night in a row due to the proximity to the... More

My son's baseball team ate dinner here during a tournament because it was close to the hotel. What luck! We were able to be seated together and waitress was very good. Although a large party, the food came out timely and everyone raved about their meals. I got the grilled trio mushrooms, shrimp and fish stuffed with crabmeat a very... More

Not your typical diner. Literally hundreds of ioptions, all fresh, from breakfast to dinner, you cannot go wrong! Food is fresh, wait staff is attentive, and salad bar includes fresh baked bread and soup....and its not boullion crap soup, its hearty vegetable or crab bisque - pay the $4 bucks and get the salad bar, the bread alone is worth... When traveling to or from the east coast cities we now make it a point to stop here for a meal. This stop we had breakfast. Servings were huge! Everything was hot and delicious. Waitress was very friendly and checked on us enough to be helpful and yet not so much to be a bother. The restrooms were extremely clean.... More
