Diners that I normally go to are owned by Greek families so if I'm going to a diner for dinner, I keep it Greek. I've had pretty good luck using that rule of thumb, so I did the same tonight, ordering a gyro sandwich with fries. My husband ordered a BLT club. The husband liked his BLT better than I... More

Asked the server if the tuna was white meat and had not fillers she said yes. Not True. Also when I asked for toasted bread I didn't mean burned. And my husbands pancakes were raw and soggy . Would have complained but we only saw the server when she took the order and when she left the check. Will not... More

I went to Starlite Diner with 4 kids and myself. The kids were the ones who requested it, although I've eaten there many times before and always find it excellent. We walked in and were seated immediately. As per the kids, we were there for the pancakes with strawberry topping. Three buttermilk pancakes with strawberries and whip cream on top... More

several good veg options, home made soups and decent salad bar. Prices are reasonable, staff always pleasant.

My daughter and I went for lunch and were extremely impressed by the good choices and atmosphere. My daughter ordered salmon which I thought was a mistake to do at a diner! Wow was I wrong! She received a very large piece of seafood, cooked to perfection. I ordered a Rachel panini and it was delicious! It was so big... More

Food was to bland or 1 ingredient overpowered everything. Powerdered mashed potatoes and bbq sauce from a bottle don't help things. Service was fine but won't go back for overpriced bad food. There are so many good diners in the area to bother with this slop house Taco Bell across the street has better tasting and better quality food.

My wife and I dined at the Starlite Diner for dinner and it was very good. They have a large salad bar with a lot of variety including 3 soups. The Italian wedding soup was my choice and it was delicious. I ordered an Italian dish (Fratelli, I think) which was bow tie pasta with sun dried tomatoes in an... More

This restaurant was looking very promising judging by the fresh, warm loaves of bread, delicious soups, and quality salad bar offered. But the quality stopped there. My husband's crab cakes were unremarkable and my liver and onions special was all but inedible. The liver was so full of connective tissue, it was hard to cut through even with a knife.... More

A the risk of not following proper " PC ", consider this. If fine Italian Suits are made by Italians, and the best German Bratwurts are made by Germans, then it stands to reason that the best diners in America are owned by Greeks. The Starlight has to rank right up there with the very best. Yes, it is called... More
