We have been visiting Pho #1 for several years. Yes, there have been some changes in broth quality and service, since the ownership changed hands, but things seem to be on an upswing. There's a steady stream of dine-in customers every time we stop. Tonight we enjoyed #10 pho as a take out order. The broth was savory, add-ins plentiful,... More

Their food is mediocre: Lack of flavor (too much oil & MSG) in soup and cheap on extras so I have to keep asking for them!! :(

When the previous owner ran this restaurant, the Pho was outstanding. Currently who ever is managing this restaurant, the Pho is not as good. The clear broth does not have the great taste that the previous owner created. The sides are sadly missing. The day I tried the restaurant recently, there were no bean sprouts, or mint. These two additions... More

Clean, authentic, fresh ingredients, affordable prices and simply great tasting food! The Pho is delicious, the rolls are so yummy! Perfect! Portions are nice size too.

My fiance and I recently visited Pho #1 Restaurant in Allentown for a quick, late dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by how good their pho was, considering the look of the place from the outside. The broth was wonderful. It tasted like genuine Vietnamese food as opposed to an Americanized, over-salted version of the same thing. And, the place was... More

We like to go to Pho 1 because there really aren't any other Vietnamese restaurants in the Valley, at least none that I am aware of. The appetizer rolls are delicious. They are rice paper rolls served cold - we got the pork and also the shrimp rolls. They are very refreshing and the sauces served with them are great,... More

The place is easy to navigate, right on the main road. Generous parking space. This a do-it-your-own Vietnamese restaurant. I am giving it a 4 because of the following: 1.) The wait staff demonstrated how to eat the springroll by grabbing on the rice paper and soaking it in water, as well as the veggies and meat, without washing her... More

When I wrote my review for this place last year the new owner had just taken over. I have been there three times this year and it has been totaly transformed. The place is now spotless. No more ice skating on the slippery floor. The food is great and the servers are on top of their game. Expect to wait... More

I have been coming to Pho#1 for a few years and the food and service were great and couldn't ask for better. Now that the new owners took over a few months ago the service from the waitress is awful and should find another line of work. The soup we ordered wasn't very hot and almost tasteless and the cracked... More
