Now the good news is, it's been there forever, the bad news is, it looks like it. The interior is rustic to say the least. When I called for the reservation the person who answered was friendly and helpful. Parking could be challenging, but there maybe a parking lot that we aren't aware of. The hostess seated us immediately and... More

I invited my best friend's daughter to dine with me in honor of her 30th birthday. She had never been here before but when she told her co workers where we were going, they were all envious! One coworker described the restaurant and entrees so thoroughly that my friend felt like she was returning to a favorite restaurant. We opted... More

Never been here before but our kids were and raved about it. My daughter bought dad a gift certificate and we just went this week. Early bird specials are super. Plenty to eat and choose from. We are not late night diners so it was perfect for us. From the phone in reservation to paying the bill, smoothe sailing!

Small cozy atmosphere. Doesn't look like much but don't be fooled. Excellent service and food. Friendly family type of place.

We had a loooooong wait, but the food was excellent. The clams casino was perfect. The baked oysters were loaded with crab and had a light sauce added on top. The seafood combo was not only tasty but the plate was loaded with seafood. Crab cakes were large and they were mainly crab and not spivey. Perfect. The lobster Mac... More

I usually don't think of a seafood specialty restaurant 75 miles from the nearest ocean, but here it is, right in the middle of Allentown PA. Make reservations. The place only seats about 45 people and most of the tables are booths. The location is "inconspicuous" to say the least, expect to walk a distance from where you park to... More

Henry's ("Where the owner wears an apron, not a tie")is well known for it's seafood. Many of the dishes come with a very rich, creamy sauce. The restaurant itself is more like a corner bar, and the place setting is not exactly fine dining. When we arrived about one minute after our scheduled reservation, the hostess greeted us with, "Good... More

After hearing about Henry's for years we finally made the trip to downtown Allentown and were a bit disappointed by the experience. To begin with the only parking available was on the street. The restaurant is small (and dark) and has limited seating available. Since our reservations were last minute we ended up sitting at a table in the middle... More

For Allentown, the place looks run down from outside and in, somewhat dark and a little dirty. The table was set more like a rough greasey spoon joint than the "fine dining" sign outside suggested. We were heated quickly by a very pleasant, but rough, waitress. Nothing wrong with the way we were treated, but again, not fine dining :)... More

We should have known better to go to this place once we arrived since it is so ugly on the outside. We decided to give it a chance because it was recommended to us. Once inside it was not much better, it is definitely NOT fine dining as it says on the door pfff.... this is more like an old... More
