Don't be fooled by the outside, it's a gem

Henry's isn't much on atmosphere...but I go to a restaurant for the food, not the atmosphere. I like authentic fresh food and this is it. Everything is made right in front of you by the chef. The place is very small and crowded. They have a small salad bar with everything in it very fresh. No bagged salads here. If... More

Small and narrow like some NYC restaurants and with a loyal following, Henry's requires a reservation - and usually well in advance. The owner is the chef and he cooks behind the bar in plain sight. The quality is consistent, and has been for decades. My favorite Lehigh Valley restaurant.

Tiny little restaurant but the food is excellent. Poor parking but worth the walk if you can find a parking spot.

Went with a party of 6, sat shoehorned between the kitchen and bathrooms in the back. If you like fried or broiled seafood with lots of butter and heavy sauces you may think this is fantastic. Could not even enjoy the delicate taste of the sole with what was supposed to be a "light" sauce. Not for me.

I've lived in the Lehigh Valley for years, but never went here. Decided to do something different and since I've always heard about this place went to try it. I enjoy "local-not-much-to-look-at" places that actually turn out to be so much more than their appearance. Service was great and friendly and the place was quaint, but for me, that's the... More

I'll say that it takes a lot to impress me. I am a very difficult person to please so when I say that Henry's has blown me away, it means a lot. The food is scrumptious. We went and shared a crab bisque and oh, that soup. It was rich, flavorful, and we cleaned that bowl down to the bottom.... More

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the Lehigh Valley! The food is fantastic and the service is superb. We love Nicole & Frankie at the bar (our favorite spot to dine). I always get the Filet au Poivre and it never disappoints...and the clamp casino for an appetizer and it is just as wonderful! Love this place!!!

Henry's is the crown jewel of Allentown; their seafood is exquisite, especially the Lobster Francaise. Exceptional servers who know the menu and specials inside and out. From appetizers through dessert, Henry's is by far my favorite restaurant!
