Buon Gusto recently changed hands. The new owner/chef, Carlo, comes from Taste of Italy in Bethehem/East Allentown, where we have enjoyed his food for years. This meal was no exception. I had veal saltimbocca with a wonderful sauce. Michele's frutti di mare was equally good. Fried calamari as good as ever. Tasty focaccia served with a teriffic olive/pepper spread. Not... More

dinner for 3 with a half-off couponfor one from the Allentown Floower show. Proprietor Frank met us and immediately engaged us in friendly conversation. Witress took our order promptly and efficiently and had the byob wine ready. Garlic breadsticks with a light olive oil-herb dip wre excellent. One party had Italian wedding soup and a cheeseburger which she found very... More

Buono Gusto is very overrated. My wife and I arrived at 8:00pm and found the door open because the AC was not operating. The place needs a facelift, it's outdated and tired. I ordered the lasagna which I found heavy and uninteresting. My wife ordered the eggplant parmigiana which was overcooked and mushy. We were one of only four parties... More

Yes, it's in a little strip mall, yes it doesn't look like much from the outside and even the interior needs a little updating, but when you taste the food here none of that even matters. It's a BYOB so take a nice wine along. Friend gave us a gift certificate for Christmas otherwise I'm sure we wouldn't have tried... More

My wife and I live near the restaurant and tried it for the first time Friday night. Calamari very fresh. Had Tortellini with Sausage. Sauce homemade, sausage tasty. My wife had an eggplant dish and raved. Good service, good value, restaurant could use a make over but well worth it. We will be back!

Must be a new restaurant or atleast newly redecorated. Very clean. We were greated upon entry and sat at a table that had been pre-set. As soon as the waitor took our drink orders, my youngest son said, ok- let's leave- not knowing why, we asked and he promptly showed us a dead fly on the plate. Next, we ordered... More

After a long day at Dorney Park, I stopped at Buon Gusto for a slice of pizza. I had excellent customer service. Everyone was extremely friendly. I ordered their specialty pizza pie called "Momma Rosa's" It was amazinggggggggggggggggg. I suggest that everyone try this pie. I love it here. I am a regular now :)

I loved this place when it first opened. I am a transplanted New Yorker and it was as close to NY pizza as I could find in the Lehigh Valley. Unfortunately, I have been there on and off since, and I have not liked it at all. Villa Rosa in Schnecksville and Salvatore Ruffino's in Allentown are my current go... More

Great little restaurant! My fiancee and I were travelling and love to explore new local restaurants. We saw some good reviews and decided to check it out. I grew up in NYC and have had plenty of good Itlalian, and this place stacks up to any of the best. Try the eggplant for an appetizer. It is stuffed with cheese... More
