I always enjoyed this diner. My latest trip there the food was good as usual. The service was slow and the waitress seemed more interested in talking to coworkers than serving her customers. The cashier had no clue on how to operate the the register. I looked at the clock and is 10:45 when we got to the register with... More

If you are looking for a quick bite and crave a homestyle burger this is the place! They also have good soups and a small salad bar. Great value and friendly service.

The Allentown area had many great diners however that is not the case anymore. The Queen City Diner is still good. We stopped for a late dinner. I had the Pepper Steak that was on special. It was unusual in that is was based on a brown gravy. The meat was fresh and tender and the peppers fresh. The rice was... More

This was a recommended spot to have breakfast knowing our love for the diners of the 1950's and 1960's with the atmosphere the way we remember them. Though the times have changed with the way we played those mounted juke boxes on the walls at the tables (they're still there) we deposited our coins and selected the oldies the same... More

We were in Allentown for a double header at coca - cola park and found this place on TA for breakfast. The diner itself is not large, so it isn't able to accommodate large parties during what looked to me like normal Sunday morning breakfast rush. With that said, they were able to put our party of 5 adults and... More

Stopped here on the way from NY and weren't disappointed! Fast, friendly service, huge portions of well-prepared traditional breakfast dishes, and great coffee got us off to a wonderful start to our journey! Our server was so friendly and helpful--she made our day! Don't forget to order some pie! Locals were welcomed by name! Impressive!

So glad I found the Queen City Diner. Right off I78 in Allentown. Food was great, portions huge, price very reasonable. Had open-faced roast beef sandwich couldn't eat it all, large serving of great mashed potatoes came with it plus one other side had fried eggplant it was cooked good not greasy.
