First time visit, good food, great waitperson

Breakfast was outstanding. Thank goodness I ordered the short stack of pancakes--I couldn't even finish them. Boysenberry syrup was the best and no one else has it. I had scrapple as well and it was done just right--crispy on the outside but moist in the middle. My husband had an omlette and he was... read more

I have visited this diner a couple of times. The food has always been good but the service is horrible. Our female waitress couldn't even make eye contact or smile. What appeared to be the owner was to busy talking to employees or on the phone. There is a young very nice Hispanic waiter who does go above and beyond.... More

I always enjoyed this diner. My latest trip there the food was good as usual. The service was slow and the waitress seemed more interested in talking to coworkers than serving her customers. The cashier had no clue on how to operate the the register. I looked at the clock and is 10:45 when we got to the register with... More

If you are looking for a quick bite and crave a homestyle burger this is the place! They also have good soups and a small salad bar. Great value and friendly service.

The Allentown area had many great diners however that is not the case anymore. The Queen City Diner is still good. We stopped for a late dinner. I had the Pepper Steak that was on special. It was unusual in that is was based on a brown gravy. The meat was fresh and tender and the peppers fresh. The rice was... More

This was a recommended spot to have breakfast knowing our love for the diners of the 1950's and 1960's with the atmosphere the way we remember them. Though the times have changed with the way we played those mounted juke boxes on the walls at the tables (they're still there) we deposited our coins and selected the oldies the same... More

We were in Allentown for a double header at coca - cola park and found this place on TA for breakfast. The diner itself is not large, so it isn't able to accommodate large parties during what looked to me like normal Sunday morning breakfast rush. With that said, they were able to put our party of 5 adults and... More
