This was a recommended spot to have breakfast knowing our love for the diners of the 1950's and 1960's with the atmosphere the way we remember them. Though the times have changed with the way we played those mounted juke boxes on the walls at the tables (they're still there) we deposited our coins and selected the oldies the same... More

We were in Allentown for a double header at coca - cola park and found this place on TA for breakfast. The diner itself is not large, so it isn't able to accommodate large parties during what looked to me like normal Sunday morning breakfast rush. With that said, they were able to put our party of 5 adults and... More

Stopped here on the way from NY and weren't disappointed! Fast, friendly service, huge portions of well-prepared traditional breakfast dishes, and great coffee got us off to a wonderful start to our journey! Our server was so friendly and helpful--she made our day! Don't forget to order some pie! Locals were welcomed by name! Impressive!

So glad I found the Queen City Diner. Right off I78 in Allentown. Food was great, portions huge, price very reasonable. Had open-faced roast beef sandwich couldn't eat it all, large serving of great mashed potatoes came with it plus one other side had fried eggplant it was cooked good not greasy.

We came here for dinner after a day at Dorney Park. We left the park at 6, ate at the diner, and were back inside the park by 7:15, it's that close. We had a burger, chicken wrap, clam strips, and baked ziti, salad bar, soup, and sodas. We fed four people for $35 and the food was delicious!!! Portions... More

What a great little diner. The staff is friendly and very quick to respond to your needs. The food is great. Tastes like my grandma cooked it and she was the talk of the the neighborhood for her incredible homey cooking. They have great meal deals and the portions are HUGE. The salad bar is clean and kept filled. Its... More

Allentown was precisely half way on our drive and so we searched google for "classic American diner in Allentown". Google was right. There were 30 kinds of pie. We had hot dogs and turkey melts. Bottomless coffee. Everything was fluro. It was fluorescent diner heaven.

How can you not love this diner? Key word being "diner" as there arent that many orginial ones around anymore. The food is good quality, home comfort at low prices. My favorite chili in a bread bowl is $5. ood old fashioned breakfasts and their desserts are the BEST!
