The place is just over priced!!! Food quality was slightly better then average. Chilean sea bass was cut too thick and soggy in the middle, chicken croquettes were good but the size of a tiny meatball definetly pass on the drunken chocolate cake, salads were good but sooo over priced!!! Rest rooms are outside the building??!!!

Sangria is one of the earliest eateries to open in the resurgent Hamilton Street area of downtown Allentown. The location is great, right across the street from the new arena being built to open in Fall 2014. The ambience is very comfortable, thought it seems a little cold when the place is empty, which it was when we had lunch... More

Went here in the evening with family. Food was way overpriced. My duck breast was undercooked. My sisters chops seemed steamed and overcoated with cheese sauce. $4 for fries but I must say they were good. Only great part of the meal. Red and white sangria were not too tasty. Service was impeccable another plus for the night. Only great... More

I went with a group of girlfriends for an upscale lunch. What we got was an inattentive waitress, lukewarm food....and then when it was time for the check...their credit card machine was down.... they wanted to take all of our credit card numbers to charge us "later"... After observing the staff, we all mutually voted NO!!! So I ended up... More

Not available the night we went: clam chowder, Lobster ravioli, Tuna, spring roll, Chorizo, Lobster Mac n cheese. Soup was ice cold, wine was warm, ours was the only table that got bread. Ribs were good so we ordered another but didn't get until dessert (we were told the previous order burned), but then found mystery mystery meat in the... More

I was excited to try Sangria because there are very few restaurants in downtown Allentown that are actually worth going to repeatedly and even fewer that look as nice as Sangria; however, everything about this place was a major disappointment. I had a business lunch there today with four others and we all left extremely disenchanted with this "restaurant". When... More

My husband and I went this weekend to Sangria to celebrate my birthday. The service was a bit slow but very friendly. The mediterranean bruschetta was delicious. Our meals included salmon and tuna, both which were beautifully presented and delicious. We finished with panacotta for desert, a mild custart like desert which was mouth watering. Location is not great, but... More

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. The short ribs I had were totally over cooked and tasted like rubber. I'm not a very critical person but I was so shocked by how poorly run this restaurant is and how awful the quality of the food is as well. I highly recommend NOT dining here, there are... More

A few buddy's and myself went to sangria and ordered a chicken dish. It was definitely contaminated and got salmonella poising along with 2 of my friends. Place must do a very poor job cleaning their kitchen and have no regard for their patrons. Also the hostes was extremely rude when we walked in which already put the night of... More

...to an awful expereince at Allentown Brewworks Restaurant located just down the street! Here we sat outside and had martini's and dessert. Entertained by our informative if not slightly airheaded server (his name escapes me). We were sorry we had not eaten dinner here also (we had contemplated it earlier from outside but decided it was a bit pricey). Although... More
