I enjoyed it

I don't care what some of these other people say, I had a nice evening. The beer was decent and I was more than happy with my food. My steak was perfect, and my French onion soup was excellent.

Exceptional steaks, exceptional service! Love the atmosphere. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal.

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review as my wife and I both work in customer service field careers. However, from the moment we walked in we were never made to feel welcomed. Our servicer seemed as if we were an inconvenience to her. Perhaps they were having a bad day, but on our next antiquing... More

Group of us all got different sandwiches. We all agreed that the BBQ sauce is awful (seem it's more like a marinara sauce). The chicken and brisket sandwich were not good. Brisket is cut extremely thin like paper thin deli meat, chicken was just bland. The Rachel and steak tip sandwich was good. Portion sizes were small. If you plan... More

Second time here, thought we would give it another go after a disappointing experience the last time. First, they do not clean their lines, my beer tasted metallic and the stout was flat. The pils was bitter and the glass was dirty. They have a raw bar which looks decent for oysters but the jumbo shrimp were dry. The atmosphere... More

Looking for a place to have a nice dinner, not from the area and this place was suggested. Good variety of beer, sat at the bar while waiting for our table. Drinks reasonably priced. Since we were right next to the raw bar watching the clams and oysters being cut open we decided we would order them. Well the clams... More

Stopped here for dinner on our way back from Philadelphia. We had heard good things about the restaurant and wanted to treat ourselves to some steaks. Monday night and there were hardly any other diners in the restaurant, but there were some very loud people at the bar. We didn't sample any beer as we were driving. Service was slow... More

We have been visiting this restaurant for years. Food ranges from good to excellent depending on what is being served. One of us drinks the beer and is happy with the variety. One of us prefers the wine. While a bit expensive, the wine is very good. We normally sit at the bar. Bar is on small side but neat... More

We were able to make Open Table reservations, which was nice. The food was very German -- beef stroganoff with spaetzle was really good and the small plate was a generous portion. If you like dark beer, the Stoudt's Fat Dog (Imperial Oatmeal Stout) was wonderful!

We visited Stoudt's earlier this month. Not a bad drive from Rt. 30 in Lancaster, not too much traffic on a Friday evening. Love the 1929 Packard in the lobby! No staff to greet us, but no big deal. We were seated quickly and our waitress was terrific. I went mainly for the beer, and as good as the beer... More
