Great beer and sandwich

Interesting place with lots of character. Food was really good, I recommend the brisket sandwich. If you like beer, but dont know what to get, try a sampler. The whole place is decorated with loads of Presidential election items and beer ephemera. Food service was a little slow, but then again... read more

We visited Stoudt's earlier this month. Not a bad drive from Rt. 30 in Lancaster, not too much traffic on a Friday evening. Love the 1929 Packard in the lobby! No staff to greet us, but no big deal. We were seated quickly and our waitress was terrific. I went mainly for the beer, and as good as the beer... More

Terrible food and awful decor. Skimpy portions, not that it mattered as we didn't eat much of the food. Steak sandwich and falafel pita for lunch. Ugh. Beer was average. Would never go back.

Often times a micro brewery has either really good beer, OR really good food .... Black Angus had both! I was there in a Saturday afternoon.

We visited on a friday night. The soups of the day were very goos. Waitress was vary attentive. The burgers we ordered were noticably smaller then the rolls the served them on. But they tasted good. The fries were alao good. We also liked when leaving that we noticed they had out soor seating that allows dogs and their owners... More

Enjoyed a very nice late dinner here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Beer selections were excellent. Food good, but not great. Burger was probably the best of our selection.

This is definitely our "go-to" restaurant in Adamstown. We used to go for the beer (Fat Dog is our favorite) AND the onion rings, now we typically pick up a six-pack and eat somewhere else. The menu is a little boring (although they do have great burgers), so, until they bring back those onion wings, we will be enjoying bottled... More

Unfortunately, the experience my fiance and I had didn't go past the hostess for the reasons described below. We arrived for lunch on Sunday 3/22 at 12:05 where we were told a "10 minute, maybe 15 minute wait" by the hostess. We agreed to wait as we were on a brewery circuit tour over the weekend and this was 1... More

My husband and I have dined at this restaurant several times over the years, the most recently yesterday. The beer is very, very good- the "whiney dog," ( stout aged in barrels) was amazing. Actually, the stout used is named, "fat Dog," and I am a fan of that beer as well. Well, this occasion the food was OK. It... More

Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. We found the historic decor simply delightful. Service was excellent from start to finish with the waitstaff warmly describing the daily specials, menu options and craft beer list. The meatloaf special, burger and vegetarian falafel were ordered followed by three choices from an exhaustive array of desserts. The waitress happily assisted our pickiest... More
