We went to Martino's w/o a reservation (wouldn't advise it). They were full so sent us downstairs to Macaroni's. Martino's has a bar and indoor or outdoor dining. Their atmosphere is lively. I'd been there once before and very much liked the meal. Macaroni's rooms are small and lack ambience. Food was typical Italian (pastas, antipastos, salads, shellfish dishes, meat... More

Had the Scampi and pasta, with roasted tomatoes. It was exceptional. Atmosphere is elegant, and service exceptional.

There is no better choice for dinner in Ashland before the theater. Martino's is mere steps away from the entrance to all three of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival theaters. This, of course, would be meaningless if the food wasn't always excellent. Pick anything on the menu. You will never be disappointed. The meat balls are simply the best ever.

Food was quite good though the selections were limited due to group size. I am not a dessert person usually, but I will give the chocolate mousse an A plus.

Came thru street entrance and there is no one to greet, so we just walked back towards the kitchen when someone finally greeted us. At upstairs on the lovely patio. Very good food, although I was looking forward to the prawns on my cappellini Mediterranean but what I got were maybe cut up shrimp. Disappointing. Hubs had scampi and said... More

Though we only get to Ashland about once a year, we usually stop for dinner here at least one night during our visit. Handling our Gluten Free needs and Garlic allergies has never been a challenge here and the food has always consistently been good.

Had tickets for a play, so stopped here, right next to the OSF site, and enjoyed our meal, mostly. Had the lobster risotto, which was delicious and just right amount, with nice chunks of lobster in a creamy base. My companion had the fruit gazpacho, which was a bit on the sweet side and not successful. I had the minestrone... More

Food and service were very good. They were able to seat us for dinner despite lacking a reservation because we got there when dinner service started. Portions were reasonable to large, resulting in some leftovers when both appetizer and main course were ordered. Would definitely eat there again.

Six of us had dinner here just before a Shakespeare Festival play, and it was great. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. I had the carbonara, and it was as good as any I have had. And the location is right by the Festival so it was perfect.

We've been here over 30 times , enough that the hostess recognizes us when we come in. It's a great place to have a pre-theater dinner. The service is always great - surprisingly prompt. Delicious caesar salads to start. Very good food - I often get the seafood pasta, lasagna, or pollo martino, but they often have great specials. Prices... More
