My daughter and I just spent another glorious week of theater in Ashland and ate here twice before shows at the Bowmer Theater. The service is incredible! We were quickly served and on time for our performances both times. The food is luscious The Caesar with grilled shrimp and salmon is exquisite!

Most Importantly: I know it says "Lounge," but go in through the back Lounge entrance rather than the main street entrance. There is a beautiful outdoor eating space right across from the OSF. The front entrance is a bit weird and not nearly as fun. We visited here twice in the same day. We entered through the main entrance for... More

Five of us ate here before attending a play in the theater right behind the restaurant. The location could not have been better. My spinach salad was a "ten" on a ten-point scale. The other four in my party had pasta and everyone was very happy. My husband got a free dessert for his birthday. Would definitely eat there again... More

Popped in for a drink downtown. Bartender and staff seemed disinterested, to say the least. Felt like the place was catering to regulars rather than visitors. No loss. Plenty of other places in town.

Great atmosphere, food, and service. Loved the upstairs location overlooking the downtown area. Portions were generous and the food was delicious.

While this restaurant offers later night dining in Ashland downtown and is next to several OSF theaters, the food didn't excite, but does provides basic Italian fare. The restaurant offers two patios -- one in front and one in back that leads to OSF theaters.

Our family has eaten in this restaurant about 6 times over the past 4 years. I was not going to write a review, but was surprised by some of the negative reviews while looking for other restaurants, and now feel the need to put in a positive review to reflect our overall experiences. Our reviews should reflect the intended clientele.... More

We dropped in for drink and a light meal of soup and salad following an evening performance at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The place was packed, but we found a small two-top and happily settled in to watch the crowd, which included performers from the play we’d seen that evening. Although our meal was fine, what we found remarkable was... More

We stopped in as it was the only restaurant we could find serving food after the plays let out at the OSF. At that time of night, they said they were serving a limited cafe menu, which we were fine with. I ordered a cup of soup and the fruit/cheese plate. The soup was okay, but the fruit/cheese plate was... More

Martino's (also Macaroni's) Restaurant right in downtown Ashland is an institution, and they capitalize on their location and reputation for good basic Italian fare. We ate there about a year ago, and found the food to be ho-hum, but this time when we tried it again we were pleasantly surprised. My husband loved his carbonara; and my Caesar salad with... More
