Driving through Ashland & stopped for lunch at the Dragonfly based on the great reviews & awards this restaurant/chef have received. First impression 'hold your breath', the stale odor upon entering the restaurant nearly made me walk out but we were on a tight schedule. Restaurant was quite empty which probably wasn't a good sign. Our meals were edible (even... More

We had another great experience at Dragonfly! Jonathan Hall provided excellent and knowledgable service - wine comparisons, dietary modifications etc. he gave us tastes of several wines to help decide. All of the dishes we ate were outstanding. The beef was grass fed and tender. One of my party had what she described as the very best hot chai tea... More

Have never had a bad meal here, but have never had a really great one either. Food is solid and atmosphere is nice. Just nothing really special here. Will probably go back, but not a top choice for Ashland.

Dragon fly is known for its perfection. The chef won chef of the year in Ashland for three years in a row (I think) and then became a judge. Unusual dishes. Always a treat. Fun, if not sarcastic, staff who make the evening more enjoyable. Summers you can sit outside. Good value for your money.

Phenomenal lettuce wraps, chili rellenos and also Buddha Bowl. A very nice diverse menu. Will definitely go back!

SLOW service, decent food. I would go back for sure, but not on a weekend night. I think our mistake was ordering an appetizer and waiting a while on ordering dinner as it was delayed by an hour. Food was good. Flowerless chocolate cake with her name and happy birthday on the plate was special when quickly dropped by our... More

While in Ashland we visited a number of restaurants based on tripadvisor. So surprised this isn't higher on the list! It was recommended by a local and on a Sunday mid morning it was obvious this was a favorite brunch spot for the locals. Even so the service was great, food came out fast and was fabulous!!! I will return!!!... More

I've never had beans for breakfast, but Dragonfly serves them with yummy salsa, an egg scramble (with Avocado) and potatoes - the combination is delicious and filled with protein. Great way to start the day. The portions are large but not ridiculous and the service is wonderful. This is not fast food so if they're crowded it can take a... More

I need to break the mold, but I love the Buddha bowl, and the other entrées don't sound as good. My husband enjoyed his tamal over kale. The sauvignon blanc was very reasonably priced. Our waitress was very good and pleasant. Dragonfly now takes reservations.

Really delicious fresh food, scrumptiously prepared, served by friendly people in a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Lots of variety and reasonable prices.
