I've enjoyed several lunches and dinners at Larks, which is located in downtown Ashland at the Ashland Springs Hotel. Delicious, fresh salads, seafood, Kobe beef burgers and always amazing specialties. Today I enjoyed lunch with colleagues and everything was delicious--from bread and appetizers to the fish and chips and organic lettuce with smoked salmon.

Our party of three had a first rate dinner--sole, lamb, and more sole--accompanied by a remarkably fresh salad, an excellent potage, and a superb dessert. Previous positive comments are closely in line with our experience, but the thing I'd add is that we've dined three times at this restaurant across a half-dozen years, and the quality has been good to... Good food & service, one thing struck me: the portion sizes were quite generous compared to other restaurants in the same class. Good seasonal/themed drinks too.

We expected good food to match the classy decor but were absolutely blown away by the three dishes we ordered. Roasted beet salad, caramelized brussels sprouts, & the charcuterie platter. High class restaurant with reasonable prices for the location and quality of the food.

After traveling all day from Seattle, and stopping at our favorite places along with way for a big breakfast and lunch, and sightseeing in Ashland, we stumbled into Larks Restaurant next door to the elegant Ashland Springs Hotel, tired and just wanting a simple dinner salad and coffee. We asked the maitre d' if it would be alright to order... More

OMG insanely yummy! After a long cold day exploring Ashland (cute little town), Larks was exactly what I needed! Located inside the historic Ashland Springs Hotel it has an art deco feel inside the restaurant. Classy without feeling pretentious. Service was awesome and the food, I can't brag enough about the Southern Fried Chicken Breast...I'm still reminiscing about its deliciousness!!... More

We have eaten at many of Ashland good restaurants, but this is the first time here. I did my homework and this place sounded promising, so I made our reservations a few weeks before we arrived. First I like the atmosphere, it has nice size window, and light colors, with lots of pictures of different birds, so it feels light... More

We visit Larks every year when at the festival. They have excellent vegetarian fare. Reserve ahead for dinners or brunches.
