The wait staff are prepared for diners who are heading to the theater and are very willing to accommodate with quick service. The food is good and seating outside by the creek is very nice.

For lunch I had a white bean soup and house salad which was excellent! The service was attentive and the setting outside by the creek delightful. If you are in Ashland, I would highly recommend the Greenleaf Restaurant!

The food was good. The outdoor seating by the creek was nice. The menu is all over the place. It doesn't seem to have a coherent theme.

My husband and I have been eating at the Greenleaf almost since it opened in the mid-80's. We enjoy the food, the service, and the option of eating outside by the creek in warm weather. We used to go when our son was still living at home and can recommend it for family dining as well as couples/friends dining. The... More

We really enjoyed the food and the prices were good. It was crowded, but most people were waiting to eat outside and we got seated quickly inside.

We had dinner outside by the river and it surpassed our high expectations based on other reviews. The menu has something for everyone. I wanted lots of vegetables after a 10-day trip with too many fish and chips (although that is on their menu as well). Their coconut curry vegetables was fantastic. I also had chicken breast with the vegetables... More

Greenleaf is so dependable. We share the Ashlandia omlette and are always pleased. The muffin is very fresh and good. I believe everything on the menu is equally good. Very popular with locals.

A nice, better than average restaurant, that has many organic and gluten-free offerings. We wanted to eat outside, (which would've been really a good experience), but the bees didn't cooperate.

I was satisfied with the good and service, have been there with groups of friends, but today took my family, wife 4 kids and was charged an" automatic gratuity" of 20% got two answers why.. Well you had more then 5 people, I said I've been here with larger groups without an automatic gratuity? then he says "well it's up... More

Dear James Y Thanks for eating at the Greenleaf. We are so glad you enjoyed your food and service. Sorry that you were not happy with the 18% gratuity added to your check. Like many full service restaurants, our servers have the option of adding a gratuity to parties of 5 or more. I took a walk thru downtown yesterday... More

Very disappointed with food. Read all the great reviews here, so thought we would try it. Extensive menu, but neither my husband's pasta special of the day or my grilled salmon were good. His was totally bland and rather tasteless, and my salmon was over cooked and tough. So many other good restaurants in town where you can also eat... More
