I retreated to The Pinehurst Inn for 4 days of reading, hiking, and relaxing in the country. It was completely peaceful...Jenny Creek gently flows downstream, the deer elegantly jump from side to side, and dinner every night was a slow savorable delight

Donnie made us feel welcome ,even though I was dressed like a bum. We just stopped for coffee and ended up having dinner, wine and coffee. Mary wanted to stay, but I need my internet and TV at a motel. Donnie plays great piano, and sang a few old standards before we left. One more glass of wine, and I know... More

Thanks to Donnie & Denise for a beautiful dinner, the presentation was as good as the food! Sat on the enclosed porch and enjoyed the privacy and awesome gardens and wildlife. Always a wonderful experience!

We celebrated my son's birthday dinner on Sunday afternoon. We have been to the Pinehurst Inn many times and it has the most wonderful food, atmosphere, and friendliness of the staff. Donnie and Denise Rowlett are wonderful hosts and welcome us as family. I would recommend it highly.

This is not just an ordinary meal out. From the time you navigate through the hills (mountains?) of Route 66 until you receive your bill at the end of the evening, you are experiencing one of the best Oregon has to offer. Let's start from the beginning. Make a reservation. If you want ribs or the prime rib, make sure... More

Returned to have dinner at the Historic Pinehurst Inn for a special occasion. The sirloin steak, halibut, and ribs were ordered by our party. We were seated promptly and were informed that only the owners (2) were working that night because their help were not available. The meal extended into a 3 hour marathon as there were several guest here... More

This place is definitely not your typical restaurant setting. It's very small and "cozy". The atmosphere inside is very awkward. Everyone was sitting very close so having a private conversation is nonexistent. I read reviews that their food was wonderful and someone had said the Rib Eye Steak was the best steak they ever eat. I'm not exactly sure where... More

If your looking for a interesting outing then this restaurant should certainly be on your list. If your driving east from the Ashland you will travel over one of Oregon's twistyest roads with shear cliffs to get there. Once there you will find a very nice restored hotel and get to meet the owners cordial and pleasant. On our visit... More

Now THIS is a restaurant anyone should be sure to visit. The PInehurst Inn is a beautiful old hotel, and this restaurant is really top notch. Lovely setting. Service is outstanding. Food is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. From the appetizers, drinks, to the desserts, you won't be disappointed.

An historic gem tucked in the mountains between Ashland and Klamath Falls...... go for the Joe Johnson cut of prime rib - by far the best we have ever had. Halibut was amazing as well. Relaxing atmosphere with the most incredibly personable owners and staff. Be sure to ask the owner to play you some something special on the piano.... More
