As 30 year Ashland residents and patrons of many excellent area restaurants, somehow we've overlooked Pinehurst Inn ( slightly out of town in the mountain lake forests.) Our loss. This Inn is a traveler/dinner gem. Set on quiet Jenny creek, the Inn hosts do a delightfully thoughtful job of providing excellent food and service.

Great service, clean rooms, great atmosphere. Quiet property in the forest next to a pretty little creek. Flew my Cessna into the Pinehurst airport and had a shuttle come pick us up within minutes.

My husband and I made reservations and made the fairly long drive from Klamath Falls, it was well worth it. We have driven past here many times but have never eaten there before. The 4 of us showed up at Pinehurst Inn after a day of birding in the Klamath Wildlife refuge. Donnie treated us like family and set before us his homemade English muffin bread, which was great.
