March 22, 2008 ORSunshine Just spent a great week-end for our anniversary. Everyone was very friendly and took very good care of us. Dinner was excellent and we had a wonderful time. It's not cheap so don't expect a bargain but for special occasions I would highly recommend both the inn and the restaurant. We booked a suite with a... more

Happy Belated Anniversary! I'm very glad to hear that you were treated well and I want to pass a little tid-bit for your next trip to Ashland. For our overnight guests we offer a special 3 course Prix Fixe, but we also just started a special which we are going to be running continuously which is a choice of soup...

We were a little late to dine in the more formal dining area, so we opted for the wine bar for a bite to eat while in Ashland this past Fri. night. This is a great option for those wanting someting to eat after regular restaurant hours. When we arrived there was a guitar player playing festive music, there were... more

I am so glad you enjoyed your time in the Wine Bar. I hope that you will come back and try the dining room as well. And I love the pictures! Thanks for joining us! Drew Gibbs

We came by for their new Local Special and loved it. I had the Mini Beef Wellingtons and they were as wonderful as always. I was really happy to see them back on the menu. We'll be back for the Dickens' Feast! more

Second visit and it was as great as or better than before. My husband and I recently stayed for our second visit just one night at the Winchester Inn and cannot tell you how peaceful and relaxing it was. We were on our way to a conference so we were a little tired after a long drive from California. We... more

I stayed the weekend at the Inn and ate at the restaurant each day. The room was well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. Everyone from the office to the houseleepers were very graceful and responsive. The meals in the restaurant were excellent. I loved the Kobe beef, and the halibut. The deserts were out of this world. more

I recently had dinner at the Winchester Inn and was very disappointed. I've heard great things about their brunch and I should have stuck with that instead of dinner. I order a steak with a bleu cheese cream sauce and found the steak to be extremely fatty for a filet mignon, but the taste itself was so bland. My friend... more

We had dinner at the Winchester a few weeks ago. When we arrived we decided to make it a leisurely dinner. After having a drink in their gorgeous wine bar we were seated in the wonderfully decorated dinning room. The food was delicious. We had Dungeness Crab Ragoons (fried wontons) to start with, and they were out of this world.... more

Ashland has a number of good breakfast locations (the best is Morning Glories for breakfast) but if you are looking for a brunch, this is thee place to go. Wonderfully creative breakfast items can be found in this downtown yet secluded hideaway in Ashland. The atmosphere is a little more fancy than your drop in breakfast spot, and is located... more
