Our group travels to Ashland twice a year for the Shakespeare Festival, and we've been going to Amuse at least a year since in opened. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is always consistent.

We had not been here for several years and because we were not seeing a show at Oregon Shakespeare Festival that night we went for dinner. Wow. The shrimp I had in my salad were so fresh, cooked so well and tasted so good that I wanted more and more of their food. We both had fish. The salmon was... More

For our final night in Ashland, we joined a couple of friends at Amuse (their suggestion). We enjoyed it very much! The menu has only a few selections; the wine list is modest. However, it's all really good! My wife and I each had a fresh-as-the-moment heirloom tomato salad. For the entree, we shared the grilled albacore. Three of us... More

Wonderful food...with 5 of us we tried just about the whole menu. The prawn salad with peaches and basil was the best! Service was top notch from the birthday champagne to the crunchy brittle that I munched on during my short walk to the play. We made 6:00 dinner reservations...Even had time for their French press coffee ... Perfect timing... More

Food and service always great. Pre theatre reservations during Shakespeare Festival are hard to get. Plan ahead or enjoy a leisurely dinner on a non theatre evening

Excellent atmosphere, top-rate service, friendly staff and (mostly) exquisitely prepared food & drinks. The white corn soup & warm beignets dessert were award-winning starts & ends of our meals. There were, however, a couple of (slight) disappointments; Halibut was & smelled (perhaps) one day passed it's sale date but the delicious bed it was on masked the negative and the... More

Whenever I visit Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, I look forward to dining at Amuse. The food and service are excellent, the ambience understated and tasteful. Meals can be somewhat pricey, but are well worth the cost.

Our second time in two years for dinner at Amuse restaurant while at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. This is French style cooking which solid and dependable. We both enjoyed the complimentary bread with three spreads, especially the roasted red pepper spread. Maybe it was redundant , but we also ordered a pate as an appetizer. The serving was small but... We had read wonderful reviews and were looking forward to our meal. Three of us were dining, we ordered a cocktail, wine and a soda. The amuse was a delicious trio of spreads for crusty bread. The corn soup and Chicken Mousse appetizers were delicious. The Market salad was average. The cocktail arrived after the wine and soda, and unfortunately,... More

The food was good, not great. The presentation was very good but the service was a bit slow. It appeared the server was a little stressed. We were a party of 10.
