Nice atmosphere and very friendly and efficient service. Food was very good , but portions were very small and overpriced. Good value for wine. Less than 5 mins from the theater.

Clearly a highly priced restaurant. A bit pretentious, even though we had reservations. The menu is rather limited.... French/ California style. Main courses are approx $30. The tables are really close together, so I really felt like part of the conversation of the table next to us. Awkward. On top of everything, the restaurant was freezing. That was difficult.

This was our third visit to this restaurant in four years. Our first visit was spectacular! Second visit less so. This visit...four very small chunks of Sweetbreads...$15. Halibut...average size but over cooked and lacking flavor...natural or added...$30. Salmon...also $30... was very average with a watery attempt at foam to enhance the presentation. In our opinion, Amuse is no longer worth... More

My wife and I have eaten at Amuse three times over the years, most recently this past September 2014. This is a really high-class California-French style restaurant that manages to combine superb food and service with a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere, at reasonably affordable prices. Every time we've eaten here, we've had the best meal of that particular visit to Ashland.... More

Our group travels to Ashland twice a year for the Shakespeare Festival, and we've been going to Amuse at least a year since in opened. The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, and the restaurant is always consistent.

We had not been here for several years and because we were not seeing a show at Oregon Shakespeare Festival that night we went for dinner. Wow. The shrimp I had in my salad were so fresh, cooked so well and tasted so good that I wanted more and more of their food. We both had fish. The salmon was... More

For our final night in Ashland, we joined a couple of friends at Amuse (their suggestion). We enjoyed it very much! The menu has only a few selections; the wine list is modest. However, it's all really good! My wife and I each had a fresh-as-the-moment heirloom tomato salad. For the entree, we shared the grilled albacore. Three of us... More

Wonderful food...with 5 of us we tried just about the whole menu. The prawn salad with peaches and basil was the best! Service was top notch from the birthday champagne to the crunchy brittle that I munched on during my short walk to the play. We made 6:00 dinner reservations...Even had time for their French press coffee ... Perfect timing... More

Food and service always great. Pre theatre reservations during Shakespeare Festival are hard to get. Plan ahead or enjoy a leisurely dinner on a non theatre evening

Excellent atmosphere, top-rate service, friendly staff and (mostly) exquisitely prepared food & drinks. The white corn soup & warm beignets dessert were award-winning starts & ends of our meals. There were, however, a couple of (slight) disappointments; Halibut was & smelled (perhaps) one day passed it's sale date but the delicious bed it was on masked the negative and the... More
