We had read wonderful reviews and were looking forward to our meal. Three of us were dining, we ordered a cocktail, wine and a soda. The amuse was a delicious trio of spreads for crusty bread. The corn soup and Chicken Mousse appetizers were delicious. The Market salad was average. The cocktail arrived after the wine and soda, and unfortunately,... More

The food was good, not great. The presentation was very good but the service was a bit slow. It appeared the server was a little stressed. We were a party of 10.

Chicken Mousse appetizer was great. The fish dishes and game hen excellent. We especially liked the corn ice cream. The rib eye steak was bad. Too much fat and tough.

I think we found our new favourite restaurant in Ashland! We had a wonderful pre-theatre dinner here with friends. It was the best meal of our visit. And the service was superb. Will definitely return when we're next in Ashland.

Amuse has been our favorite restaurant in Ashland since we moved here in 2006. It's perfect for Special occasions, great atmosphere, small and quiet for a romantic dinner. The fish is always done to perfection-not overcooked. Sauces are always delicious. Lots of unique combinations and always beautifully presented. Don't miss the beignets for dessert-they rival the ones I had in... More

Dinner was a success at Amuse, quite near the Winchester Inn where we stayed. My husband had a fruit salad and Alaskan halibut, which he says was superb, and better than the halibut at Peerless, a couple of nights ago. I had three small plates—a prawn and potato salad, then sautéed veal sweetbreads and a salad. We all splurged with... More

Visually interesting food, proper portion sizes, with artistic flair. Excellent atmosphere, great wine menu. May appear costly, but well worth the money for the experience.

I had the Crispy Veal Sweetbreads in corn puree with bacon and chanterelle demi. It was supposed to come with cherries. It did not. The dish was still one of the best I have ever had. My wife had he Little Gem Salad with smoked bacon, radish, blue cheese and ranch dressing. Again excellent. I had the Charcoal Grilled Ceder... More

A wonderful dining experience. We sat in the courtyard which, even on a warm evening, was very comfortable. Our wait staff was personable and very helpful. They asked if we had theatre tickets, which we did, and assured us that we would be out before our play started. What ensued was a leisurely meal with the courses well timed. The... More

We have been eating here for a decade, and have never had anything less than a great meal. The food is always prepared perfectly, and it's hard to recommend any one dish over another since they're all great. The service is professional and attentive without being overbearing. The space itself has an quiet elegance not found elsewhere in Ashland. By... More
