Modern Dining

Clean, modern food impeccably conceived and presented. Attentive service in a spare environment. Good wine choices. Close to OSF. Book when you are not seeing an evening show for the best experience.

Overnight in ashland. Very nice small rest. Perfect for romantic dining. Service [only 2 servers] seats 40. Excella service. Had the grilled ship starter. Very nice. Ribeye is good but not great. Need higher grade meat. Shoestring fries ok but would have preferred french style fries. Beans were not cooked. Overall, probably best fine dining in ashland.

The service was excellent but the food was average. They try to be creative, but missed on flavor. My wife's halibut was good as well as the salad we shared. My pork tasted awful, and I couldn't finish it. Overall, the quality of food didn't match the expensive cost so the value was not there. I would highly recommend Alchemy... More

Enjoyed a great meal here - excellent service and a fun menu. Especially enjoyed the watercress salad and the prawns! Looking forward to coming back next time!

We just happened to drive by this sweet place and I just happened to turn in its direction to find one of the best meals I've had in our trip north. The salmon was prepared with fresh berries and was poached to perfection. The celery root soup with truffle oil did not disappoint and the service was warm and friendly.... More

My friend and I visit Ashland every few years to take in some good plays and walks and food. This time around, we saved Amuse for our last night because we had enjoyed it so much the first time we had dinner there -- and we were happy to find it was still in business! That says a lot in... More

We've been here several times over the years. Always a great menu with many tasty options. Service is very good, and care is taken to be sure we finish in time to get to the plays in time. Save room for desserts! They're fabulous!

The restaurant decor is not much to write home about but it succeeds in being welcoming and unpretentious. Try it!
