We had a very nice meal at Amuse which is a smallish restaurant but still not noisy with a fairly limited menu. Truthfully I was expecting a bit more given the rave reviews but it was a nice meal.

We've been here annually and this year wasn't as outstanding as in the past, starting with a variety of amusing appetizers that not only made little sense but weren't sufficient to share among six people (which got the evening ambiance off balance). Sweetbreads, however, were outstanding (not often featured on a menu), and the desserts were good. Fish entree was... More

We ate at Amuse a number of years ago and while the food was excellent we thought it was overpriced. However, now the prices are typical of fine food dining. All of the dishes we tried were very well prepared and interesting. I had a delicious green garlic soup and grilled shrimp. My husband had a salad of farro with... More

Lovely ambiance, competent staff, and good food served in a timely manner so we could get to our next theater performance. A variety of American and Continental style food was on the menu. I had a delicious salad with goat cheese and nuts with something I hadn't had in years, Sweetbreads, as my main course, which was tasty and well-prepared.... More

The menu is interesting and the food is goo with good service, But. The two rooms are small and the seating is close so we got to hear all of the various conversations. Ok if you enjoy being a voyeur but then again while it is interesting to hear about using grey water to flush toilets in water stricken California,... More

You would expect to see a restaurant like this in Paris's 16th arrondissement, so finding it in Ashland Oregon by happenstance was quite a surprise. The menu was carefully crafted with the right variety of meats and seafood, and local, seasonally grown vegetables. It was elegantly presented and carefully explained by the waiter. The foie gras was cooked to perfection,... More

We love Amuse! For dinner, I had the Seared Sea Scallops and my husband had the Josper Grilled Cedar River Ribeye. Both dinners were delicious. I've had a lot of scallops, and this was the best that I've ever had! The ambiance was lovely and the service was excellent. We plan to go back because Ashland is on our route... More
