Second time in two years

We loved it last year and decided to return. Parking is tight or walk. First time, it too k us a couple of tries to find it as the parking requires one to go into a driveway. Get a reservation for a early sitting to give yourself time to eat before the show. They have fixed meal prices where... read more

Excellent Italian food a 10 minute walk from the OSF. Sit outside under the arbor and enjoy the relative cool in the Ashland summer heat! You choose a main course, and the rest all comes to you. Try to save room for dessert (difficult to do). We found that sharing the main course and the accompaniments then each ordering a... More

Food was excellent. I had ravioli w/ meat sauce. It was fresh, bright sauce (flavors) and they gave you enough to feel satisfied, but not excessive as some places do. Fresh garden salad and yummy wheat bread was served as well. It was a great meal before a play b/c it was an appropriate serving - really important note for... More

We had to eat early, to make it to a play, and we made it in plenty of time. Your 4 course meal price is tied to your entree choice. First comes an antipasto plate with bread, olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. You have time to enjoy this, along with your choice of liquid refreshment, while you... More

It was a warm night and we sat outside on the pleasant patio. We enjoyed the food and house chianti.the servers were efficient and knowledgeable . The antipasto was enough for 2 and was tasty. The capilini with bread crumbs and spinach (just a bit of spinach) was divine both in taste and execution. Being a tiramisu aficionado I eagerly... More

I was told this was the best place to eat for Italian food. I was disappointed unless it was what I ordered, I am vegetarian, I had the eggplant dish....it was a different twist on eggplant, mozeralla cheese, tomatoes, olive oil...it was just that, no sauce, it was like it was a spur of the moment idea with little flavor.... The pastas were perfectly prepared. The house chianti was excellent. The service was exceptional . It is a bit hard to find, but well worth the effort. We were there on a cool evening, so we did not get to dine in the beautiful outdoor garden, but on a warm evening it would be a very attractive spot. The indoor... More

Delightful romantic restaurant. The menu is for 4 courses which is often more than I want to eat. Service was slow but the food was excellent.

Very nice food and setting. We ate on the patio, which works great on warm summer evenings like the one we had on our visit. Everything was prepared from fresh ingredients and was very tasty. Dinner includes antipasti, a pasta course, a main course, and a salad. Dessert is extra, but worth it if you can fit it in after... More

On a warm summer evening the outdoor patio with its overhanging trees was just the spot to enjoy really good food with very good service. Strongly recommend.
