What happens when you have a great chef open a sandwich shop? Add a partner and an awesome team that keeps the customers glad they walked in the door - and you have Sammich! Mouthwatering meats and sauces that are just sublime. If you find a better sandwich in the vslley - I want to know!

All in hall a good sandwich. Service was friendly and prompt.Great care in preparing tasty ingredients but bread was tasteless. Ashland has great bakeries so a simple upgrade of bread would move it to a great sandwich place. Bring your own crusty bread from Mix, The Co-op and place their meats or great tuna on it will enhance your meal.... More

Sammich is a gem! As residents of Ashland, we eat lunch there often, and it feels like home. Chandra, the chef, is a genius, and Melissa at the counter knows all the regulars and greets everyone who comes in the door with a hearty welcome. All the sandwiches are wonderful, but when I want a light lunch, I love the... More

This deli has not been in Ashland very long (maybe about a year). We visited with our 24 year old son who frequents the place often. The make everything to order. I cannot wait to go back and order something else on their menu! P

Finally, after moving to Ashland from Chicago four years ago, I came across a sandwich shop that serves great Chicago-style sandwiches--Sammich on Siskiyou Blvd right across from SOU. It's actually off of Siskiyou in a small strip mall that you enter from Bridge Street and it's the last shop toward the rear. They have a nice outdoor eating area with... More

Service was good; selection was plentiful. Good specials and sitting outside made me feel like I was in Austin (except for the cooler temperatures) - reasonably priced too.

An award winning chef works here and it shows! All the reviews were right - very personable service and food that makes you want more and more- with subtle flavors that lead you into the next bite. All their food is prepared fresh on site from local sources - YES! Some of their meat takes days to prepare, for example... More

Did a take out order for lunch. Had the pastrami that was recommended by one of the other patrons eating at the time, and also the burg to split with my spouse. Both were large and flavorful, and really messy with all of the toppings. The pastrami was thick cut and tender. Atmosphere was busy.

Went here with my wife. Totally awesome on so many levels. Food = amazing. Atmosphere = loud and fun. Service = on point with some sassy. This place should not be missed. Pastrami and burg with their bacon is a must.
