This restaurant is out of the main tourist area, and thus quiet. There is a large out door area, which is pleasantly green and landscaped. The wine list is quite good -- along with a wine bar, the best I have found in Ashland. The food also was innovative and excellent from appetizer through desert. Finally, the service was very... It was girls night out and we wanted a good time. Thankfully the food was great-salmon special excellent, steak and potatoes excellent, prawn skewers and French onion soup excellent, a variety of vegetables-limited vegetarian menu-good. However, we made an Open Table reservation and were not given the option to dine outside which is the main draw to this location because... More

Last night we returned to the Peerless. It was a lovely night and we were seated outside. We have eaten here many times and have adjusted to their quirky menu. First I noticed that they were offering glasses of wine at 19.95. Of course there were other choices, and we got a house red and Chardonnay at $9.00 . Very... More

For the best and out of the way place to eat at a fine dining place, try Peerless. We were seated in an area overlooking the quiet street. It couldn't be better. The wine selection and selection of food couldn't be beat. We always make it a point to eat there once for its selection of meals and wine. The... More

We are both light eaters, but the Peerless servings were quite small even by our standards. The ambiance was nice, the service good. I ordered onion soup and the harvest salad. The soup was what would normally be called a 'cup' size serving ($9) and the $9.50 salad I was eating as a main course was tiny. The onion soup... More

The Peerless Restaurant offered us a lovely welcome, the honored table in the front window, two delightful menus of creative small and standard plates, a great wine list, and excellent service. Even the whole grape tomatoes in the sauce were a treat to the taste buds. We shared the carrot pecan cake with green pea ice cream, coffee, and port... More

Our experience at Peerless was quite nice. Perhaps not the best meal of all time, but very good food. The wine list is adequate but based on the wines listed they are really trying to sell Oregon pinots, and we don't like pinots in general However, they did have some fantastice Columbia Valley wines, and we found one we enjoyed.... I took my beautiful wife here for a most delightful stay and meal to celebrate her birthday. She was very impressed, as was I.

We tried the lobster stuffed potato skins for the first time, and OMG, will be ordering those again! Along with the lamb meatballs, (a long-time favorite), the ahi poke has become another scrumptious new find as well. Service is always attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is a nice blend of sophisticated casual. We can't wait for the outdoor dining... More
