Lots of fun.

Dinner at the Peerless Hotel, unlike last year, was inside. John enjoyed his sampler of dishes with lamb meatballs, while Ben enjoyed a Romesco soup of the day with ahi poke small plate, and a lobster fennel salad. The wine was a Plaisance Ranch Vineyard Applegate Valley Viognier, which was... read more

To open with the lede: not reliable for a pre-theater meal. You'd think that'd be their bread and butter (so to speak) in the summer, but not so. Though we informed them we were going to a play and arrived on time for a 6:00 reservation before an 8:00 show, they were incapable of getting us out in time. This... More

Dear Stu J., I am very sorry that you had a rushed meal with us in August of 2014. We pride ourselves on prompt service and our ability get our patrons to the theater with time to spare. If we fall short of that goal, we certainly want to know about it. Thank you for your feedback, it will be... More

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The menu has something for everyone, very reasonably priced, incredible presentation, and AMAZING food. We will eat here whenever we are in Ashland. Seriously one of the best meals I've ever had.

This is a nicer restaurant a few blocks from downtown Ashland. It was recommended by 2 other people we met on our trip and we were definitely pleased. My husband and I ordered the Sampler Platter, Lamb Meatballs, and Ahi Poke. All of it was just the right amount for us to share. My favorite was the Ahi Poke and... More

Delicious food and terrific location, just off the main road. Outdoor venue a plus in good weather as the interior tends to be dark. Service varies--we have had very good to indifferent. Lots of hors oeuvres and small plates plus spendy mains (pity that our waiter was displeased with our shared bites).

4.5 points was our desired rating but only whole numbers were allowed. We would easily reccomend this place. Food and service exceeded our expectations.

This restaurant is out of the main tourist area, and thus quiet. There is a large out door area, which is pleasantly green and landscaped. The wine list is quite good -- along with a wine bar, the best I have found in Ashland. The food also was innovative and excellent from appetizer through desert. Finally, the service was very... It was girls night out and we wanted a good time. Thankfully the food was great-salmon special excellent, steak and potatoes excellent, prawn skewers and French onion soup excellent, a variety of vegetables-limited vegetarian menu-good. However, we made an Open Table reservation and were not given the option to dine outside which is the main draw to this location because... More

Last night we returned to the Peerless. It was a lovely night and we were seated outside. We have eaten here many times and have adjusted to their quirky menu. First I noticed that they were offering glasses of wine at 19.95. Of course there were other choices, and we got a house red and Chardonnay at $9.00 . Very... More
