A Fine Dinner on a Very Busy Night....

My wife and I went to Peerless on New Year's Eve. It was understandably quite busy, yet we were seated on time. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I had a beef dish and my wife had fish...both were excellent. We started with an ordinary salad, and I wish I had noted its name or found out... read more

I took my beautiful wife here for a most delightful stay and meal to celebrate her birthday. She was very impressed, as was I.

We tried the lobster stuffed potato skins for the first time, and OMG, will be ordering those again! Along with the lamb meatballs, (a long-time favorite), the ahi poke has become another scrumptious new find as well. Service is always attentive but not overbearing. The atmosphere is a nice blend of sophisticated casual. We can't wait for the outdoor dining... More

On our second visit to the Peerless Restaurant in Ashland, OR, we were every bit as happy as the first time and look forward to the next visit. The food was delicious +, the presentation was lovely, and the service by our server, Bridgett was friendly, caring and efficient.

We have dined at Peerless every year when we go to Ashland. This year with a new chef, and a new menu, Peerless is one of the best in town. Service was great, wine choices matched the food well, and the options for small plates were great for our pre-theatre dinner.

I couldn't wait to try this place. It's lovely, and people seem to like it. Decided to do a pre-play happy hour, and arrived right at 5pm. Our first clue should have been the empty bar & patio, but it was early, and yay we can sit outside! Our next clue should have been the rat that had set up... More

We haven't been to the Peerless in many years so it was high on our list as we have always had pleasurable dining experiences there. First let me say that the "remodel" ( to us) is very well done; comfortable and not pretentious. Second the service was excellent and cannot be faulted. We decided to order small plates to experience... More

I was so impressed with the food I came back a few times and got to meet the chef who was a transplant from Hawaii and passionate about food. He reminded me of a musician who takes an old song and completely updates it with a new tempo, a new beat, a different harmony and even throws in some rap... More
