Fabulous healthy and hearty meals!

In a strip mall in back of Wendy's off Ashland St. What a great meal! I had the chicken teriyaki meal and it was really good and spot on for flavors and portions. The wife went for a vegan meal with some really good kale. The garlic Nan was light and fluffy with a strong garlic flavor. The place... read more

All three of us got the vegetarian plate it was tasty and plenty of food. Next time I will try one of their excellent vegetarian soups which looked quite enticing as well.

I can't describe Sauce rationally - I get to go only on rare trips through Ashland, so it has sort of a mythical journey association for me - but this is one of my favorite restaurants of all time. I can easily order a complete and deeply satisfying meal despite food sensitivities (lactose/gluten), including gluten-free brews. Oh my goodness, this... More

I have eaten at Sauce many times since they opened their doors. The food is always very good. The service is inconsistent. This Wednesday before Thanksgiving, the service was particularly poor. The staff are sweet and nice, but it took a long time to order at the counter, and we noticed that several people came in to pick up their to-go orders, and the staff either... We have been to Sauce twice now for lunch and the food has been good both times. The menu is varied enough that one could go multiple times and try something new each time. The prices are reasonable, given the quality of the food but not inexpensive. Don't expect much ambience, though. The room is small, you order at the... More

An very original style of food not really Indian, not really Thai, definitely Asian influenced, but entirely unique. Delicious, attractive, but not ostentatious. Not inexpensive but excellent value.

I love Sauce! You can create your own bowls of food with a gluten free grain, choice of cooked veggies or raw ones and choice of meat and a sauce. This way everyone can be pleased by choosing what they want. Its a great concept and seems to work as the restaurant is always busy. They also have great tasting... More

Well decorated and homey, Sauce offers tasty, fresh food of a unique variety. I had specialty naan with goats cheese that was very tasty but over priced. My girlfriend and I split the peanut wraps and it was also tasty and overpriced. The next time I go I will try a 'build your own bowl' and unless it is very... More

I've now visited Sauce twice. The first time was early in their beginnings (a month or so?), so I was willing to allow generous room for getting the flow down. However, on this 2nd outing, I've decided that I'll likely not return. The food is very good, natural and organic - but plan on waiting an inordinate amount of time... More

I am done with Sauce. The apparent managers set up computers and hang out at tables in the customer dining area which is a fairly small room and are very loud and annoying. For the third time the annoyance was overwhelming as I tried to dine peacefully as their potty mouth soccer boys came in to loudly brag about themselves... More
