House of Thai has been one of our go-to restaurants for many years. They started as a family-run business. They have a large, open dining room, with a large, beautiful fish tank at one end. Their food is well-prepared and fresh, their Thai Iced Tea excellent, and their Tom Kha soup the best I've tasted anywhere.

We ate hear for lunch and enjoyed delicious salad rolls and pad thai. The portions were generous and the food was tasty. We would definitely eat here again!

A little overpriced. But good tasting food. My mouth is watering thinking about Thai food. The staff is surreal. Like from another culture. (Oh yeah they are). Cool birds outside in the parking lot. Why are they there?

We brought the family here based on some of the better reviews. Moving here from the midwest, we were hoping for a wider variety of asian options. House of Thai was a complete disappointment. The food was very bland for Thai, the server was rude and acted like she just wanted us to go even though there were only 2... More

House of Thai is about 2 miles away from downtown Ashland-near the college. I prefer over a 'Thai like' restaurant that gets lots of accolades, but really isn't Thai food--similar to 'Tex Mex' isn't true Mexican. Lunch is a much better choice-smaller portions--can have a cup of soup versus a huge tureen (hard if only a couple dining). We also... More

It's been a while since we ate there when it was just OK. But we wanted a quick Thai dinner without going to the crowded Plaza so we gave it another try. Wanted to get an appetizer and two dishes. But when we saw the very high prices for the appetizers (which looked like nothing special) we passed. The two... More

great meal served family-style! hard to beat prices, friendly service, convenient location right on the main street. Only thing I couldn't understand was why it wasn't more crowded.

We love Thai food and this is our favorite Thai place in Ashland. A broad menu. Prices are reasonable. Food is exceptional. Service is excellent. The property is lovely with a little park like area in front with pond. Nice pre-show place to eat. Go early if you are going to an 8 pm performance. This restaurant can get busy.

My wife and I have eaten here often. Sometimes the service is a little slow, but the food is worth waiting for. This time we invited a guest who had the red curry. She was very pleased. I got my usual, spicy fried rice with tofu. My wife had the yellow curry with vegetables. We started with the egg rolls.... More
