The friendliest food in town

We just returned from a weekend in Ashland, OR where we were moving my daughter into her dorm room at Southern Oregon University. We stayed at the Flagship Inn and on the grounds is La Casa Del Pueblo. It was close by and we were worn out from driving from Bend, OR so we decided to give it a try.... read more

The people that own this restaurant are super nice, and I like how they sometimes speak to you in Spanish. The food is pretty inexpensive, especially for the portion size! Holy moly, definitely share!

It had excellent food and great service. Husband had a seafood dish with "secret sauce". He said it was the best he's every had.

Delicious plentiful food with some specialties like mole sauce. Very friendly staff with lively Mexican decor. Definitely better than expected from a restaurant in the corner of a motel parking lot!

A very friendly staff seated us and almost immediately brought a small basket of warm taco chips and salsa. From a menu of Mexican specialties my 'Pollo al la diablo" was wonderfully spicy hot and tasty; my partner's chicken enchilada/chile relleno combo was also very good. Along with a bottle of cerveza (Pacifico $3.95), tax and a $5 tip, the... More

The two of us shared the carne asada entree, it was plenty for dinner! Food was excellent, fast and efficient service. Would recommend.

I was invited by some friends that live in Ashland to join them for lunch at this restaurant. The food was quite good with great service. Portions were huge! I probably wouldn't have stopped here on my own but would definitely go back if I was in the area again.

Stopped here because we were staying next door at the motel. Let me say... they had great Margaritas! The service was very friendly and great! Just what we needed after a long drive from Bend. We had soup which was great and light. I can see what other "Mexican food critics" are saying in other posts, however for being in... More

This was the standard mexican fair... which is my daughters favorite. This is a good family oriented restaurant, there were no spanish speaking gringo's though... I will say. I was interested to see them since someone else mentioned that... I viewed no gringo's working here :)

I was on a long drive and went through Ashland looking for someplace to grab a bite to eat. I found this little gem on the southern side of the main town on the main road. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly gentleman who seated me right away. This was during lunch on a weekday and the lunch... More
