The food was very good, especially the carrot salad appetizer which was really special. Atmosphere was just OK.

My wife and I had dinner here last week and we both thought that the food was outstanding. Hot scallops and cold crab were a great combo in my entrée. We both raved about the Brussels sprouts + house made chips appetizer. We ate here on a Wednesday night without anywhere else to rush off to (like the theater) and... More

My husband and I both enjoyed our dinner and the ambiance of this restaurant. We had- appetizers: beets w/cheese & greens, brussel sprouts with homemade chips. Entrees: duck breast, pistachio crusted halibut. Everything was unique, delicious and memorable. Highly recommend!

Latin American offerings, balanced tastes, thoughtful combos. Not just fats and carbs. Nice outdoor patio. Walking distance to Shakespeare.

The food is excellent. The outside patio looks very inviting. Unfortunately, we were indoors and seated next to a virtual waiter's runway hustling back and forth. I won't eat inside again..not on a weekend dinner. it took well over an hour for our simple meal to arrive. truly too slow for service. I am not sure it's worth the bother... More

We had 4 in our party. Everyone thought the food was fantastic. The scallops were done to perfection, a little carmelized on the outside. My husband and our friend enjoyed the ribeye. My desert was a chocolate dish, very good, plan to share it. The cheesecake was really good too and a bit different. The atmosphere was sophisticated & intimate.... More

Coquina is located about 10 blocks downhill from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival but is an outstanding choice when visiting Ashland. What evil genius created the addictive fried brussel sprout and potato chip appetizer? The waitress brought a gigantic portion which was more than enough for two people: we tried exercising self control but could not stop until we ate the... More

While attending the OSF, we seldom deviate too far from Main Street - there are many good options right there. But we went with some friends to Coquina, and we're glad we did. Half of us had the scallops, and half had the halibut, and all fully enjoyed their meal. The head waiter, and his wife, the chef, are the... More

We dined at a new restaurant, during a visit to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, somewhat off Main Street, La Coquina, with an eclectic menu and a half local wine list. I had a pea shoot and hazelnut salad as a starter and a huge bowl of gnocchi with a sauce made of Kobe beef and chopped pork bolognesi. I coupled... More
