This place was a find. As we wandered Main St after catching the Green Show, we meandered past this little place and what luck! It was later in the evening and they were running a late night happy hour menu with great prices, $5 on average for most plates. The mini poke was delicious, lots of flavors and wonderfully fresh... The restaurant was busy and understaffed. We waited a very long time to order but once served the food came quite quickly. The overworked staff were good. My wife very much liked her futomaki. We agreed that the salt & pepper calamari was way over salted, as was my Singapore noodles with chicken. Stick with the sushi.

We have the Singapore rice noodle, shaking beefs, suchi rolls and sake. It was like we never left from San Francisco. As Asian, we know what it asian foods should taste like and it exceeded our expectation. Price was reasonable, service was great. You should try the happy hours that start at 3:00pm. Very close to the center of town.

Between shows at the OSF, we stopped in for snack/dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by both the quality, quantity and price of the happy hour specials. A wonderful maki menu that looked so appealing we had to order more. Given the portion sizes, however, we had leftovers for a pre-bedtime snack. Be sure to order the Indonesian Corn Fritters. Any... One of my favorite places to eat in Ashland. I always order some sashimi and some nigiri sushi. Sometimes seaweed salad. The water here is infused with cucumber. The iced tea is good. I am usually here for lunch with girlfriends. Attractive room, pretty utensils and dishes. They make it all fresh to order and everything is good. For a... More

After perusing the choices of eateries in Ashland, we decided on Taroko. We didn't make a reservation, but were seated immediately. Tableware was attractive and menus were offered. There is a large choice of rolls; we decided on several orders of sushi (nigiri) These were attractively presented and were very fresh and delicious. We also ordered some salt and pepper... More

This is the kind of place to experiment and try small plates and sushi. Everything we tried was excellent, particularly the seaweed salad, the green mussels, Crunch Tiger Hidden Dragon roll and the R&R roll. The prices are reasonable -- not always the case in Ashland. A nice atmosphere and attentive service rounded out a great meal.

Four of us ate here, our first meal in Ashland on a family trip. One vegetarian dumpling soup, one order of salmon negiri, one order of salmon skin maki, one kung pao chicken and one mongolian beef. Everything was good - the kung pao was a little sweeter than I prefer, but the celery and carrots in it were crunchy... More

We ate here two years ago on our first day in Ashland and then forgot about it. This time, we remembered and enjoyed it. There is an amazing array of choices. The sashimi salad and maki we chose were scrumptious. Our only complaint is that the dining areas are kind of dark; it would be a good for a bar... More
