I could have had only the bloody mary's for my meal but the rest of the menu was so tempting that I ended up overeating and spending two hours at the brunch table! The sage pancake with pork belly and a poached egg was perfect and when paired with the potato cake cooked in duck fat - I was in... More

This was, hands-down, the best place we ate in Ashland, which is saying a lot for a town with many excellent choices.. The Bacon Beignets are very unique and amazing. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the best burger I have ever tasted. The staff are very friendly.

For me, it's rare to find a restaurant that combines food and art. Usually, you would have to pay a lot of money at a five star restaurant. My sister who lives here took me to this restaurant. We came as the restaurant was closing- It closed at 130pm. This restaurant is a breakfast and brunch restaurant, unfortunately. My waitress... More

This restaurant says they are "meat centric" . We were here for Saturday brunch and had the breakfast burrito, the corned beef hash, and the BLT. The peanut butter, chocolate chip, banana flapjacks with strawberry sounded fantastic. We would love to come back for dinner, the smoked meat smelled wonderful!

I love coming to this place. Came here with the family Sunday for some brunch and really enjoyed. Delicious food made from scratch and you no they use local products too. If you haven't had there fried potato cakes then your missing out! Only time we can get our 4 yr old to eat anything with potatoes . Everything was... More

We came here for my birthday dinner. It was warm so we sat outside. My halibut was grilled perfectly and served with flavorful lemon couscous. My husband ordered the hanging steak and he said it was just "ok". Service was slow, however we talked over drinks. The waiter needed to be told twice that one couple was sharing a dinner... More

My wife and I ate here on our first night in Ashland. A warm Sunday evening so we sat outside. Excellent margarita to start and the 2 specials were ordered were excellent. I had the smoked brisket that melted in your mouth and my wife enjoyed an excellent hanger steak. Food complemented by attentive service. We will be back if... More

Even though this is a meat centric (their term), there are enough options that I would take me vegetarian friends here. We went on a Friday night after the plays has started, so not crowded at all. We had chicken and steak, both nicely cooked. The asparagus salad was very unique and tasty. Sugar snap peas were the best! Tile... More

We had dinner here on Saturday night of Memorial Day weekend which might explain the gaps in the very friendly service. The food is Fan.Tas.Tic. The charcuterie platter is salty and delicious with a sweet whole grain mustard accent. The butter lettuce salad was fresh and springy. We shared the goat cheese souffle and the hanger steak. Delicious! My favorite,... More

I worry about doing this and losing our favorite table...but here goes...Smithfields is absolutely our favorite restaurant. We live in Ashland and go at least once a week. The prices are incredibly reasonable when you consider the quality of food you recieve. I have never had better fish and chips anywhere...and I lived on the Coast for 30 years...Their Brisket...
