More like hundreds of old beer bottles on the wall, this brewpub is a mixture of modern design and older beer memorabilia. The menu is a nice mix--burgers, pizza and more upscale items such as the smoked salmon over creamy polenta with mixed veggies in a pesto sauce--delicious. Service was friendly and timely. Bathrooms were very clean. The beer was... More

We ordered couple of different beers and a plate of Cajun tater tots and it was all good. They have quite a few beers to choose from, and their wait staff was very helpful. This is not a fancy place, and there's not a lot of atmosphere, but good for a quick beer, snacks, and a get together with friends.

We were sampling beers on a Saturday afternoon and feel in love with most of them. What an incredible selection of craft beer. The bartender was knowledgeable and nice. Bands play here but not while we were in. The music on the playlist was right on for a chill afternoon. Craft beer lovers should like this place.

The place gets a superb rating because their beer is totally awesome. Just standout porters, stouts and Brown's. The beer here is delicious! The bar is cool. What you would expect in a tap room. They only have their beers on tap but that's not a problem when they are all great tasting. The bar top only seats eight so... More

Six of us ate here before going to the theater on a Tuesday night - 3 adults, 3 kids. It's very loud in the restaurant, and the service is slow, somewhat inattentive, and not very accurate - for example, one of us asked that his burger be served without mayo, and another ordered a pulled pork sandwich without slaw. The... More

Walked over from our hotel while passing through Ashland...a very pleasant surprise! We also tried their beer which was also very good. They have an amazing menu of beers to choose from. Service was also good.

Okay, a review of a tap house by a non-beer drinker isn't really fair. So, take these comments with a grain of salt (and a glass of red wine). But, unless the purpose of your visit is to guzzle brew, you could do better a lot of other places. The food is basic and reasonably prepared. However! The food took... More

Everything about this place is good, even the houseflies. Several eating establishments in Ashland boast houseflies, and that tells us they avoid spraying chemicals, which is a good thing. Wait staff are young, still learning, and very pleasant. Food offerings are varied, but not so far out there that you don't know what you've ordered. Yes, it's about beer, but... More

On a 90 degree day there is no better place to hang out than the shaded patio at Caldera. Plus they love dogs in this generally dog-unfriendly town. Caldera's own brews are very nice, plus they are open-minded enough to serve an excellent selection of other beers, too.

Beautiful location. Food for the stomach, as well as the soul. I was able to find a "dog friendly" table for me and my 8 lb dog. Service was wonderful, food was wonderful, atmosphere was in nature and wonderful.
