This was our return visit from last year and we weren't disappointed. It was too cold for dining on the deck but cozy inside. All 4 of us were pleased with our meals. We especially liked the dungeness crap and shrimp cakes, Peking duck breast, and pasta.

Pretty good food, overall. Standout starters were the charcuterie plate, crab cakes, clams, crab and avocado salad, and of course the pomme frites with truffle are tasty. We didn't get their Mac and cheese creation, but I saw it nearby and it looked fantastic if not decadent. Dinner for everyone around the table looked great and had good feedback. My... More

I'm happy to try a new place. The location is convenient, and the service was fine. For the same price, however, I got a much better dinner, and a much better value, at Martino's. I think you should go there instead.

Good food but service was terrible. Never offered to take out drink order. Ignored us throughout first course. Ordered a glass of wine to go with dinner only to have it arrive 15 minutes after our entrees were served. Very frustrating dining experience.

The Loft is a lovely, elegant, second-floor restaurant serving real French food made with local, seasonal ingredients. We have been here many times over the last four months and invariably found the service friendly and prompt and the meal excellent. They now have a sunny room as their bar ("Carpe Noctem") and increased the size of their outdoor patio space,... More

The Loft is a great place for brunch. What could be better that mimosas and eggs benedict? No problem switching potatoes for fresh fruit.

I again dined at the Loft with family during my most recent trip to Ashland, Oregon and enjoyed the Seafood Bouillabaisse on this occasion. I love seafood and I was not disappointed as I enjoyed the variety of seafood in the Bouillabaisse as well as the perfectly seasoned broth it was prepared in. Also, all the staff were very pleasant... More

We were initally disappointed that the tapas menu had been suspended for the winter (we were truly looking forward to their steak tartare) - and then were further disappointed that their excellent pate was not on the appetizer list. But fear not - My wife had TDF crab cakes followed by a wonderful duck dish, while I ventured into the... More

As usual the dinner at the loft was quite nice nothing outstanding but above-average. Unfortunately after leaving the restaurant and so we would not upset the friends who were with us for dinner my wife told me that the coq au vin was absolutely horrendous. She said it Should not even have been served. So disappointed. My meal and my... More
