Fantastic Tacos etc. Would recommend to any one wanting authentic Mexican food. Only problem in the summer is parking. Great margaritas to go with the food.

I guess that sums up both the taco experience and the ambiance in this 20 seat restaurant. The food was better than average but not consistently "very good" so if I could have given 3.5 stars I would have. My companions did rate the chicken and fish taco excellent, however. I found the guacamole good but lacking seasoning ( remedied... More

Fresh, delicious food. Took the family and a friend, and we all ate and drank to our hearts content...even dessert...for ridiculously affordable price. Next time you're trying to think of a nice, inexpensive restaurant in Ashland, don't. Just do it! PS: They're enlarging across the street in December..

Margarita's can be so blasee and sweet. On our visit to Agave, I decided to give their special a try. It was delicious! I'm not fond of sweet drinks, and Agave uses a mixture of salt and pepper with the sweet for a perfect combination. My fish tacos were tasty. It's a small place, and they are moving to a... More

When was the last time you had a duck comfit taco?? You need to try Agave Taco and get this item crossed off your bucket list! This is a little restaurant that provides Ashland type atmosphere. We were there on Halloween night which is a city wide event to be experienced in it's own right. The staff was in costume... More

This restaurant didn't have much ambience, or even very much seating, so we weren't expecting much. But the food was fantastic. My husband ordered a lobster taco. For only $8.95, it had huge chunks of freshly-cooked lobster in it. I chose the pork tacos, which were equally good and only $2.95 each. Fresh guacamole and chips were delicious too. From... More

Visiting Ashland for the Shakespeare Festival, three friends and I took a tip from TripAdvisor and decided to eat here. The TripAdvisor reviews had warned us that it was a small restaurant, but I'd say that was a very generous description. We had to convince the server to push two tables together so that we could sit down. Kind of... More

It's small, busy, and hectic but the tacos are excellent and the guacamole and chips a good starter. Definitely not a "fine" dining experience but a fun spot for a quick or late evening meal.

First, understand that the place is tiny. And that they had an order for 30 tacos to go just before we walked in. So the slow service is understandable. And they did take the slow beers and guacamole off the bill. All that being said, the food was sometimes great. Duck tacos are wonderful. The guacamole was sort of bland.... More
