Excellent Mexican Food

This looks like a little "hole on the wall" place, but the inside is very tastefully and a little arty looking. The food was wonderful we started with chips and guacamole, then we had tacos and tamales. Everything was fresh and very tasty. We will be returning to this little gem.

This restaurant is in Ashland, a town of excellent but pricy food choices. Although the menu first appears to be quite reasonably priced, everything is extra. There are NO free chips and salsa that is usually supplied in EVERY Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at; and if you want beans and rice, that is an extra $3.99. Salsa and... More

We will never go back there again. The service was horrible and waited our food for over 30 minutes. ....I asked Where's our food. ...A waitress said oh we're slammed. That's not true we saw young guys coming and taking their time and joking around. It's ridiculous. ....A manager didn't do a damn thing. Told a waitress we're leaving and... More

My wife's soup was unevenly warm, and hot nowhere. Had it been microwaved? Not sure. My tacos were tasty and fresh, but not as imaginative as they sounded on the menu. Soup, salad and two different kinds of tacos all had the same shredded cabbage. I guess this gave a certain consistent look to the food, but it also showed... More

Went here in January but I'm finally catching up on my reviews. This was hands down some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. Be careful with the Margaritas - they're excellent but very strong. There is a two Margarita limit - although you can drink as much (well within reason / soberness) of anything else that you... We had yummy tacos, salad and guacamole. Would go back for sure. If you are looking for a reasonably priced spot with great fresh food this is your place.

Four of us went here recently. Menu is limited, tacos and tamales. Prices are very low. Food is poor. Chicken tamale was dry and flavorless, with very little sauce to make it interesting. Tacos were mediocre. Salad was adequate. Environment is very nice and service was good.

This small, local restaurant had great food! The guacomole was delicious, the chips fresh and tasty. The tacos were some of the best I have ever experienced. And the hostess and waitstaff were awesome. They were very busy, and everone went out of their way to make sure we didn't feel neglected. We will definitely dine there again when in... More

I dined here after spending the day hiking around Crater Lake (divine!). It was totally delicious. The guacamole was great, but I wished it had been a little spicier. The tacos were great as well. I was wishing there were more tables outside and that it was a little less noisy inside, but that contributes to the character I guess.... More
