Modern, clean look. Good brews, and upscale food at not an upscale price. Very friendly waitress/bartender. Friendly patrons willing to share.

Nice brew pub setting. Lot's of space, friendly servers and, when the weather permits, a nice deck in the back.

We had such a great time here. This is farm to table in real life!!! There are sections of the menu where the food is grown, raised or laid no more than a mile from the restaurant. The burger was so fresh and juicy, the pickles we home made, it was delicious. Loved the sweet potato fries, not greasy and... More

My wife and I ate here on a recommendation from the brewer at Grain Station Brewpub. My wife had some of the best fish & chips she's ever had. Light, moist, and crispy. I had the Greek salad which comes with 2 skewers of pork souvlaki. Try the double ipa- very good. Service was great despite being a busy Friday... More

I was hesitant to try the Standing Stone due to some of the negative reviews, but my first impressions were that the pub was much better than those reviews. Then...we ordered.... Nice staff and busy place, but the food took overly long in arriving and, as one recent review (a local, I suspect) suggested, it was nothing really remarkable. Had... More

Had lunch with my husband. He like his fish and chips. I opted for something smaller, knowing we were going to dinner that night. Ordered a appetizer of nachos, with chicken. The chicken was so way overcooked, and it was all dark meat. I could not even bite into it. I think it was under the warming lights for way... More

Standing Stone is a perfect example of the stereotypical Ashland restaurant: relatively over-priced, yet the food is nothing special. I've only had average soups there, and the bowls do not even come close to making a meal. Sandwiches and burgers are also small, and nothing to write home about. The pizza I've had there is the only thing I could... More

It has been over two years since my wife and I and our two Australian quests all shared a fine dining experience @ Standing Stone, but the food and the micro brewery beer still stand out as good memories. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we returned three times in our short stay in Ashland. We all ordered off... More

We tried their 8 beer sampler....not a huge fan of their beers. Their atmosphere is modern...way more of a restaurant feel than a brewery. The service was ok, never got a refill on water and it took awhile to get a beer once it was ordered. There are better brewery's with better beer out there.

Not being a burger dude, I tried the fish and chips, which came with garlic fries. With recollections of garlic fries at Gordon Biersch's in Seattle, i anxiously awaited my meal. My wife had the same, but "upgraded" to sweet potato fries. The fish was over cooked, the garlic fries were just fries with grated/fried garlic sprinkled over them, and... More
