Went to Brothers for breakfast and it was delicious! Excellent eggs and I like that you can choose beans instead of potatoes for your side. My favorite food was the scones! They're handmade every day and are scrumptious!!!!!!! I had a cranberry pecan scone that was buttery, flakey and one of the best things I've ever eaten!

After reading some less than stellar reviews, i was a little cautious but we went last week on sunday for brunch and had a wonderful meal. They have little trivial pursuit cards on the table and that was a fun way to pass the time. The food was quite good, I had potato pancakes and my wife had an omelet.... More

A great spot for breakfast, but be prepared for a leisurely experience. It took a bit of time to place our order and receive it.

At Brothers you must not forget your status, that of lowly customer. Staff are quick to let you know that you are of no concern to them. Just eat and leave. Don't dare to expect good customer service.

Wow, that's a pretty blunt review! Not sure what was going on, but I can assure you that your experience is most definitely atypical. I am there much of the time and know that we enjoy loads of compliments about food and staff. So sorry for your experience. Hope that you'll give Brothers' another chance -- please feel free to... As much of a tradition as the Shakespeare Festival, itself, no visit to Ashland is complete without a visit to Brothers - and usually there's more than one visit for breakfast every single trip. Great service and the freshest food. I like the upstairs seating best.

I visit Ashland several times each year, and I always manage to hit up Brothers for breakfast at least once per visit. The coffee isn't great, but the baked goods (scones) are, as are the hash browns, and the eggs are always cooked correctly to order. When busy the staff can get a bit flustered, but I overlook that because... More

You name it, they've got it! I've seen plenty of tasty breakfast plates coming out of the kitchen, but I just can't bring myself to order anything but their AMAZING cheese blintzes. I dream about the lemony, souffle-like filling when I've been away too long....

Tried Brothers' for the first time. Service was poor throughout. When we arrived, staff saw us but did not acknowledge our presence or offer to seat us. Eventually someone did. Drink orders were taken fairly quickly. Food order was not taken for quite a while. Then food took much too long to arrive. Other patrons were also waiting a long... More

This is in the heat of Ashland. It is very popular and therefore very crowed. I don't think they take reservations, so you probably will have a wait. It is a fairly spacious two floor restaruant. They have diversified menu and the items we have chosen have been delicious.
