I did not know there was a site to visit as I always purchased through other vendors. Love the product and have eaten this delicious candy for years. Don't wait for a holiday for these treats!

This is a must for the area. It features wonderful chocolates and truffles in a most unique setting. The Monks do a wonderful job. Be sure and stop by the chapel.

Excellent hand made fudge and truffles. A beautiful setting and a peaceful stop if you are touring wine country. The tasting room offers free samples before you buy. The monastery was not open for a tour, but the garden was lovely in the spring.

Not much to see or do here except buy some candy and leave. Service was very non commercial. We stopped because we were in the area and wanted to see what it was all about. Save your time for something else.

I wasn't even planning on getting any of the fudge because it's usually too sweet and rich for me. I was interested in the truffles. They won me over with the fudge samples though. We ended up buying a box of the plain chocolate fudge. They don't offer samples of the truffles but you should not pass on them. They... More

The Brigittine Monastery is a small and sits in a very pristine setting. Before going it may be good to visit their site: http://www.brigittine.org/index.htm The chocolate is WONDERFUL and they have a good variety of truffles etc. Also in the gift shop you will find some good literature. I am not Catholic but enjoyed the serene atmosphere of this place.... More

Pretty views en route, lovely little chapel and nice, accomodating monk to help in the Gift Shop. Nice fudge and it's truly Christian that they sell their Trappist brother's product even if that's not reciprocated. Worth stopping for a few moments of silent contemplation and peace.

We visited the Brigittine Monastery in early April. As it was Lent the Brothers were in seclusion so did not meet with anyone. We visited the Chapel and grounds and had the luxury of sampling their fudge. The fudge and Truffles are made by the Brothers and are delicious. We were warmly welcomed in the shop and were offered a tasting... More

I had no idea how big and beautiful the truffles were until I saw them in person. Lot's of fudge samples to chose from! There is a super friendly lady that helps you at the desk, but sometimes you are lucky enough to see a monk in their medieval looking habit . It is a silent monastery so don't expect... More
