Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Winter Solstice, and 3 other visits to The Blue Goat have been great. We have tried many dishes, from the local beef that is ground fresh in-house for the burgers to .....yes, goat. My first time that I have eaten goat and did not know what to expect. The meat was very tender and the spices... More

The website says "Serving Lunch and Dinner:Friday and Saturday 11:30 - 9pm". We arrived at 425pm on a Saturday and were told, "We're between lunch and dinner." We were allowed to order starters, salads, or soup, but would have to wait until 5pm to order any entree. When I asked the waitress if this included the small pizzas (on the... More

The Blue Goat was recommended by staff at a winery, and it was a very nice experience for lunch. Very good food, pleasant atmosphere. We'll be back the next time we're in the area.

Having just spent 30 hours traveling, I was picked up an taken to the Blue Goat for dinner. The menu was quite varied with several goat meat dishes on the menu. Having lived in Amity 13 years prior, it was fantastic to see a restaurant like this. They have pizzas on offer as well as small and large plates. We... More

OK, so those of us who live in the Willamette Valley would never think of going to Amity, of all places, to go out to eat. We had relatives visiting and happened to be driving down 99 right through Amity and decided to give the Blue Goat a try--it was terrific! We had heard good things from friends about the... More

This is a gem, we were wine tasting in the southern part of the Willamette valley (Eola-Amity hills) and had planned to have lunch in Salem. It was recommended to us to try this restaurant in this very small town of Amity. Everything was great. They have a wood burning cob ( mud ) oven. We had figues stuffed with... More

I loved the decor in this place. It is a relaxing little oasis. My complaint was the food was under seasoned. The staff was stretched in fact only one waitress was trying to service the entire restaurant. This place has so much potential that I will have to try it again.

Went for dinner and arrived around 5:10 happy hour is until 6:00 so saved some money. Was seated at the bar right in front of the chef's station so we could watch and ask questions about the food being prepared. I chose fish and steak tacos and my wife had BBQ chicken and peach pizza. We both liked the food... More

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday brunch this past weekend and we look forward to returning again for dinner or lunch. My wife has dined here previously, and her favorable comments proved to be right on the nose. We both ordered the eggs benedict which was prepared perfectly. The eggs soft and yolky -- the way I like it -- without... More

This restaurant is beautiful and unique. A very relaxing and quality atmosphere. The service is average. The food however, isn't so positive. I had the pizza and it tasted like glorified cardboard and was a small portion for a hefty price. Other party members had burgers and said they were just "okay." Haven't been back.
