Looking for a great burger, did not find here...

Burger was on a tough cold bun and there was no tomato. Asked server and she said that they were out of season.. Fresh cut fries were over cooked. Not a fan.

We had such high hopes for this quaint, well-decorated, and highly recommended restaurant as we spent the day wine touring in the valley. We were disappointed in the slow service, even though the restaurant was less than half full around 1pm. It took about 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Everyone in our party of seven was trying to... More

Such a gem of a restaurant in the little town of Amity. A lot of great local food can be had! My hubby and had two yummy suppers here last weekend and each of our meals were delish! The soups and salads are always delightful, sweet potato lasagna simply to die for and the Persimmon Pudding with Eggnog crème was... More

Actually turned around on 99W looking for authentic good local food. The squash soup, chicken salad sandwich and a 10 oz. Pils were great. It is great to be able a small beer when that was what was needed! Great decor and service. Visited the Coelho Winery next door for a the full Amity deal.

After endless treks down I -5 to take my "Duckling" back and forth to Eugene... We decided to take the scenic route along 99W. The Blue Goat had been relatively well reviewed, so we stopped in for Brunch. I ordered Cheesy grits and Bourbon flamed shrimp.. Wow. Deeeeelish. My daughter had the corned beef hash, featuring large, lovely cubes of... More

We ate lunch at the Blue Goat the week before Christmas, and it was one of the worst dining experiences we've had in years--maybe decades. When we arrived, the place was about half full. After talking with the wait staff about various options, we settled on their fish tacos and an order of fish and chips. Then we waited. Waited... More

Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Winter Solstice, and 3 other visits to The Blue Goat have been great. We have tried many dishes, from the local beef that is ground fresh in-house for the burgers to .....yes, goat. My first time that I have eaten goat and did not know what to expect. The meat was very tender and the spices... More

The website says "Serving Lunch and Dinner:Friday and Saturday 11:30 - 9pm". We arrived at 425pm on a Saturday and were told, "We're between lunch and dinner." We were allowed to order starters, salads, or soup, but would have to wait until 5pm to order any entree. When I asked the waitress if this included the small pizzas (on the... More

The Blue Goat was recommended by staff at a winery, and it was a very nice experience for lunch. Very good food, pleasant atmosphere. We'll be back the next time we're in the area.

Having just spent 30 hours traveling, I was picked up an taken to the Blue Goat for dinner. The menu was quite varied with several goat meat dishes on the menu. Having lived in Amity 13 years prior, it was fantastic to see a restaurant like this. They have pizzas on offer as well as small and large plates. We... More
