Gathering place

A group of old friends convened on the Blue Goat for Saturday dinner and ordered a variety of entrees. The service was attentive and mostly patient with our questions. Several of us ordered burgers, the meat was good but they were not exceptional. Folks who ordered tacos raved about them. We... read more

This is a small town restaurant but with a touch of class. They have a Cobb oven and their pizza is fantastic. The vegetable dishes are tops and their service is good too. Blue Goat is a must if you are in the area.

We go to the Blue Goat at least once on our trips to Oregon. They have the best food in the state, bar none. The service is good and the atmosphere is eclectic. Great place!

Housed in a storefront on the main drag of Amity, the Blue Goat offered the rough-hewn Oregon esthetic of wood, red brick, and high ceilings so that we felt as if we were sharing in local history just by eating there. We had a goat empanada, liver pate, and the standard burger. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection;... More

This place was great! The flight of beers were wonderful and not expensive, the service was outstanding, accommodating our quirky tastes, and the food - specifically the pizza and bread was wonderful. It's a fun place that should be on your list.

Went to the Blue Goat Restaurant on Sunday, 7/5/15. It was recommended as one of the best burgers around, by a friend of my wife's. We went inside. Quaint, different decor. All chair seating is old school desk chairs. Kinda fun! We started off with a drink. The wife had a lavender lemon drop.....SHE LOVED IT! I had the Pilsner... More

A friend recommended the Blue Goat for dinner. We started with the cheese board, which was VERY good! It has: Rogue Creamery’s Oregon Blue, Briar Rose Creamery’s classic Chevre and Lorelei (Porter-washed, ripened goat’s milk cheese), fresh fruit, house pickles, toasted hazelnuts, Amity clover honey, and house bread. We then tried one of their fire baked pizzas (smoked chicken pesto).... More

This restaurant came recommended to us by a couple of the wineries we visited while driving through the Willamette valley. I had high hopes for it based on the recommendations, of which one was so strong that I thought we were going to a stellar place for dinner. However, it was just mediocre. I ordered the chicken paella, which I... More

Stopped here for dinner. Great place for pizza and the menu was farm to table. The bar was great and offered many different types of beer and wine.

Worth visiting in Amity if you are visiting the wine country. The food is very fresh, a good wine and beer selection, and the service is helpful and friendly!
