We had high hopes for Sybaris but were sadly disappointed. The duck burger was dry. The "bun" was the size, shape and consistency of a hockey puck. The fries were overcooked. And it was all overprices. Only the service was satisfactory. We won't be back.

We had a guest from the East Coast visiting us so we decided to go to Sybaris. We have been here before and were very pleased. This time it was even better then last. IT WAS AN EXPERIENCE! and I have pictures to prove it. The most beautiful olive oil poached halibut you will ever eat. Open faced duck burger to... More

I was delightfully surprised to have such a great meal in Albany, of all places. The service was great and the food was even better. As I understand, the menu changes on a regular basis however I will mention the food we ordered: duck, halibut, and salmon. All entrées were absolutely delicious. We had an unusual appetizer of barnacles, which... More

When people ask me "what's the best restaurant in Salem?" My answer is: Sybaris restaurant in Albany, Oregon. The menu is locally sourced and fresh and the preparation and composition are a match for any restaurant in Portland. We just returned from a wonderful dinner for four sitting outside on the front entrance patio. Because Albany's second Street is so... More

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The waiter/manager knew the menu up and down and gave us great food and wine recommendations. The food was great, starting with the pork belly appetizer, followed by the best jambalaya I've had outside of New Orleans, and a delightful duck breast and rhubarb chutney pairing. The chef then surprised us with two wonderful desserts... More

I've eaten at Sybaris several times. I believe it is the best restaurant food you can eat in Albany. Always interesting, always fresh, and always very good. We look forward the service that Jesse gives (exceptional), most informative, and always a bit of fun. Whenever we want a very impressive meal, this is the place to go in Albany.

I so enjoyed my first visit to Sybaris.. We so enjoyed Jesse to assist us. Wonderful variety of great food - starting with the appetizers, liquid refreshments and onto the meals. It's definitely a place you don't want to miss when you're in Albany.

I had heard about Sybaris for a while and decided to give it a go. I've eaten at amazing restaurants in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, the Caribbean, Mexico, San Diego to name a few & my dining partner has lived and traveled in Europe, Sri Lanka and Indonesia, that are counted among her doing experiences. Sybaris tries to sell itself as... More
