GREAT thai food, eaten in restaurant or as take out. Good prices for fresh ingredients and thoughtful, authentic preparation. Nice atmosphere, great service (often the owner at the lunch hour)! Would HIGHLY recommend. Better food and better value than many Portland, OR Thai restaurants and chains.

Had lunch here today with a friend, fantastic experience. We were seated in a comfortable booth, our water was never empty, the tea was hot and tasty. I had the green curry lunch special with shrimp and rice. The shrimp were plentiful, big and sweet, the broth flavor was complex and delicious, the veggies were cooked perfectly as was the... More

First of all, everything is good! This is a favorite for a great meal in Albany. The restaurant is just a cold lifeless building, so if atmoshphere is important to you, get yours "to go". The servers however are very attentive and keep your drinks filled. This is one of two places I think of when I want to eat... More

This is family style Thai food -- well done, good portions, and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and quick -- not polished, but certainly good. Atmosphere is basic small town, though everything is clean and neat. There is no wine list, but you wouldn't expect one. A small list of beers and Saki is available, and at least one of... More

The food is great. The noodle dishes are the best hence the name "House of Noodle." The pad thai and chicken noodles are super yummy. The soups are pretty good too. The duck was kind of dry. The service is just ok. Sometimes the servers forget you are there. I would go back for the food.

Just ordered take out, and i love the fact that they have mangos and sticky rice. I love all the spices and the fresh herbs as well as the thai ice tea. I will be back but im not so sure that i like dining in their restaurant. Its very small and the waitstaff was completely lacking at understanding the... More

wonderful food served hot with friendly staff. the soups come with a center cone that has a flame to keep this bubbling while you eat. this restaurant has its own chili relish that is quite hot. we liked our food so much we returned the next day to try out more menu items.

I have never been a Thai food lover. I'm a sissy wuss when it comes to hot and spicy food and I've been apprehensive to really try anything that might cause permanent damage to my taste buds. Being the wonderful wife that I am, I offered to take the Man-folk here, after the great Yelp reviews and friends recommendations. I... More

Small place that doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is so good. Portions here are a little smaller than most Thai places, but the price matches the amount appropriately. The Pad Thai and Pumpkin Curry are my 2 favorite go to meals. The salad rolls are great appetizers. The hours are a little limited as its... More
