If you have full pockets of cash and need to make room for a pack of Tic Tacs, Cafe Alley is the place for you. Some of the choices on the menu are pretty tasty, while others are average at best. I do a lot of cooking myself, and can easily get more flavor out of the same dishes for... More

This is hands-down the restaurant jewel of southern Oklahoma. It's a little hard to find if you aren't a local, but keep looking. You will be so glad you did. The owner/chef serves meals that are memorable. My favorites are his steaks (sauces he adds are incredible), Cook Shack Chicken, the poblano pepper appetizer and the corn bread. I was... More

I was not as impressed as other reviewers. We ordered the stuffed Poblano Pepper, as so many others had raved about it. We thought it was OK, but not much flavor, nothing special. We would not order it again. We both ordered the special, which was Crab Cakes, and we both had Caesar Salad. The Caesar was OK, heavily dressed... More

I travel occasionally to Ardmore for business, and I always make a point of eating at Cafe Alley. It is one of my all time favorites. The owner is always there it seems and makes a point of visiting with customers to make sure their meal exceeds expectations (which it does!). Other staff are equally friendly and attentive. I've had... More

A pleasant surprise! Delicious blackened Tilapia with Grilled shrimp and green beans. Wasabe ranch dressing. Windy was my waitress and couldn't have been more attentive. When I explained my diet, she made excellent suggestions and made sure the meal came out just as ordered. This restaurant is in an eclectic building that has been a chicken factory and a wholesale... What a neat location. Super friendly staff. Food is great but not as up scale as some may think by looking at their website. It's across from the Ardmore train depot which was a treat for me since I'm a train fan!

The menu had selections for any palate, an American menu. The seating was comfortable and there was sufficient space to not feel crowded. I liked the eclectic decor. The owner came to the table and she and her husband are very present in the operation. Wait staff seemed positive, happy, and helpful. I ordered the talapia and it was delicious.... More

Without a doubt the best food in Ardmore. The waitresses can get a little sacharine but have great intentions. The food I generally prepared well although not terrifically creative. The place is nice and you feel like you're in a real resteraunt.

My mom lives in Ardmore and has taken me to eat here two times. Both times were a pleasurable experience. The menu is varied and pretty much has something for everyone. The quality of the food is very good. Ambiance is cozy and relaxed. My memory is they have cloth napkins, and the menu selections are upscale without being pretentious.... More
