I eat here often and have had only one bad meal. Atmosphere is nothing special, but service is good. Try the mac/cheese or stuffed poblano pepper or chicken fried steak or any of their tilapia dishes. Fairly good wine list and bar. A bit of trouble to find as you have to go down the alley and park behind the... More

You can't go wrong eating at Cafe Alley! When they have their crab cakes it is a must to order them!! My other standard favorites are the cook shack chicken and the Cobb salad. Their queso and calamari are great starters and if you are in the splurging mood you must have the peanut butter pie or the ice cream... More

I have eaten at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. They only serve the items that have flawless customer reviews. You cannot go wrong with any selection on the menu. I personally find it more and more difficult to get a very good steak these days. I do not know where they get their beef but I... More

Leaving Fort Worth, I recently attended a business meeting in Ardmore, and upon the conclusion Cafe Alley was suggested by a colleague as the lunch destination. We were seated quickly, and the food was great! Strongly recommend the chicken and dumplings, made on site, with the mac & cheese, very good. The grilled salmon salad was excellent as well. The... We're from Dallas visiting family here in OK, and they suggested Cafe Alley. The reviews of this place were golden. They do live up to their reputation. We had cheesesticks, the cook shack chicken with Mac and sweet potato fries, burgers. Chips and queso. I tried a bit of everything, it was all amazing. I am a Mac and cheese... More

We met some friends at Cafe Alley because we had all heard that it was amazing. We were not disappointed!!! The food is out of this world good, and the atmosphere is to die for. They are extremely friendly and go out of their way to give you the best experience possible. They are remodeling right now, but that has... More

We have lived in Ardmore for 21 years and have seen Cafe Alley go from a small, hole-in-the-wall lunch only spot to an upscale restaurant in a larger location (and enlarging the patio right now). They were previously owned by Gary Jackson who also owns Fireside Diner. When the current owners took over they were able to keep some of... More

Off the beaten path in an area next to railroad tracks and inside an old building that is located in an area being revitalized. The food was fantastic, atmosphere upper scale, but also casual...Didn't eat dessert but the ones I seen delivered at other tables was huge.
